The fragmented Equestrian nation has begun a hesitant trot towards reconstruction and reformation, but a long road of recovery and re-acclimation is in store for the once-segregated communities of Maretime Bay, Bridlewood, and Zephyr Heights. Friendships formed and harmony restored, but with many of Sunny's one hundred and forty-two questions still left unanswered, particularly those about why Equestria devolved to such a state, it's tough to figure out where to begin.

Maybe it'd be best for her to start with some of those newer and more personal questions...ones she'd hastily written down during their crew's quest to save ponykind from its long period of separation. The unicorn capable of answering them is close at hoof...she need only ask her.

Shortly after her transformation, Sunny Starscout is keen to know more about the magic that led up to it. After going through her father's old research, she stumbles upon the legend of an ancient amulet and the alicorn who wielded it.

It is now up to Izzy Moonbow and Alphabittle to voyage across the sea, to the Griffish Isles where the amulet is said to be located. Its discovery could be the key to finding out more about the powerful magic behind Sunny's transformation.

The return of magic also caused the Crystal Empire to appear again, but two Crystal Ponies, banished from their homeland, wish to change that.
And now it's up to Sprout to stop them, save all of Equestria's magic, and accept that his family played a larger part in history than he would have enjoyed.

Contains a silly plot, (intentionally) butchered history, and stereotypical Swedish/IKEA-ish proper names, mostly meaning that I added a bunch of unnecessary umlauts to vowels. =P I apologize to Prince Shining Armor, Princess Luna, and all Swedish people reading this. Also contains an actual IKEA name - Älvängen/Alvangen is/was a set of lamps, including a desk lamp.

A few days after the restoration of magic, Sunny Starscout accepts an invitation to spend the night at La Villa Izzy following a visit to the newly livened Bridlewood. But while Sunny came prepared to spend the night on the floor, Izzy won't have it. Her bed is big, and she's never shared it with anyone before, and if there's room enough for both, then why should Sunny have to sleep anywhere else?

Unfortunately for Sunny, Izzy's not the soundest sleeper. Fortunately for Izzy, Sunny's there.

While reading through her dad’s old history books, Sunny Starscout comes to a horrifying realization: The ancient legend of Nightmare Moon is in fact real, and she’s due to return to Equestria on the eve of the 1000th Summer Sun Celebration to bring eternal night.

To make matters worse, the 1000th Summer Sun Celebration happens to be tonight.

Luckily, there’s a solution: Six magical artifacts known as the Elements of Harmony could be the key to Nightmare Moon’s defeat. But how is Sunny supposed to find them when they’ve been lost for generations? And why isn’t the Princess not doing anything about the danger?
