What happens when all the colors fade? When Rainbows turn grey? What happens when the Rainbow you gave your whole life to disappears? Sometimes, even though it seems that the colors in your world may have vanished, all you need is a friend to bring them back.

Twilight Sparkle finds the answers to these questions when one of her closest friends passes on, even though it seemed like a living nightmare, she finds that it has opened her friends and her very own eyes that true friends transcend even death itself.

I am not doing anymore changes to this story (except for grammer and spelling). I feel that this story was written with most of my sorrow thrown into it so I don't want to spoil that.

This is just a little story I came up with randomly and I wanted a break from my other story. Anyways a huge, huge thanks to Atlantean, because honestly without him this story wouldn't exist. Shortly after Twilight Sparkle ascended into the throne in Canterlot, Starlight Glimmer has essentially taken Twilight's place in Ponyville. It's a lot less chaotic as well, Trixie may be a hoof full and all but she's settled in quite well.

However, a routine day for the unicorn goes off track with a few unexpected visitors. Thankfully for Starlight, she knows a thing or two about having been on the wrong side of Twilight and her friends. When a new but familiar arrival shows up feeling anxious perhaps a little chat about common lives will help. Especially after they realize she also has had her fair share of confrontations with the elements.

"Okay kids, let me tell you a story about your Dad's and mine first Hearts and Hooves. It was an awesome day that started..."

This story is my attempt at the National Pony Writing Month mentioned on EQD.

Rainbow Dash is know for her athleticism and rough and tumble attitude. She's fearless and not afraid to take on any challenge. But what most ponies don't get to see is her soft side. A side that loves to love and be loved. Even more unknown is a side job where she gets to do just that. The job of a professional snuggler. But how will she cope when a new client sends her into a realm of emotion that not even she thought she had?

Applejack and Rainbow Dash went to Twilight Sparkle with a simple question: Could she make a spell that would allow them to have a foal together? After a year of magical research, Twilight thinks that she's done just that. But the spell is not without potential side effects, and AJ and Dash have to decide if they're ready to be part of a magical experiment that could give them a foal of their own, or cost Applejack her life.
