It's Hearth's Warming Eve and Sweetie Belle has invited all her classmates (with the exception of Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara) to a party at Carousel Boutique. Snips and Snails make it there, and Snips is chosen to spend seven minutes in alleged heaven with Sweetie Belle. And let's just say, that trouble goes down.

My first attempt at making a story i'm not really trying to "make it to the top" like most fanfic makers. But i try to make a story that i and maybe others fine fun. Some of you might enjoy it. some of you might hate it some of you might hate me and just hate it because i'm making it!

The game mechanics in this incarnation of Ogres & Oubliettes are largely invented. They are not derived from Friendship is Magic canon nor are they particularly based on Dungeons & Dragons. This story attempts to briefly explain each game mechanic as it is introduced to the characters' campaign.

Twist has finally got the job of her dreams, working full time in Sugarcube Corner with her idol and newfound friend Pinkie Pie. But when her hero goes missing, the workaholic knows there's nothing she can do; she's too weak, too useless. But she seems to be noticing clues others miss, and it's making some of the others suspect her for having a hand in the disappearances.

Dinky's just relieved that her mom has finally begun to recover from a long winded depression, glad to see that maybe her life is going to be normal. But when her mom is kidnapped by a mysterious pony who looks a good frightening bit like the boy she has a crush on, her world begins to shatter.

Five unlikely allies find their destinies inseparably bound; despite their differences, it seems that the only way to save their loved ones might be to set such things aside. It seems only they can unweave the mystery and save the ones who matter most to them. Falling in and out of love, betrayal and secrets, truths and lies that change everything; but to the five ponies, on thing becomes glaringly obvious. Any fool can be happy.

Spike is outside of Ponyville running an errand for Twilight when he hears voices coming from a cave. As he goes to investigate the voices seem familiar but he just can't place them. Before he can get inside he is knocked unconscious by a mysterious pony. He wakes up tied to an unknown object and things go worse from there.
