Sunset Shimmer rose from her bed as the rays from the sun awoke her. She used her magic to push the door open which revealed a glorious shadowy hallway which she walked down peacefully. She then entered the throne room where she sat on her throne and once again called to her servants. "Snips! Snails!" She shouted as they came out of their cages still tired from the lack of sleep. "It is time! Put on your traveling cloaks and out the door. We must attack now while Celestia is still weak from rising the sun." She said calmly. Snips and Snails then levitated their cloaks onto their backs and securely fastened them as they pushed their way through the door.
"I cant believe i'm actually doing this Snails. It seems unfair to the princess." He said with an unsure voice.
"You heard what the princess said orders are orders. She will be-head us if we dis-obey her." He said sternly as his horn then lit up and his disappeared into thin air. Snail's horn began to light up too and he disappeared. They appeared at the castle the lowered their hood in case anypony got suspicious. They trotted around the town looking for the entrench into the castle that seemed very close to them now. "Excuse me sir? Do you know where the entrance to the castle is?" They asked curiously to the pony who was dressed rather well.
"Well just go past the theater and you will be there." The pony replied using his magic to straighten his bow tie and then trot off.
"Well we know where the castle is might as well suit up for the battle." Snails said with a disappointed voice.
"If we suit up now they will get suspicious especially with the guards walking around town." Snips replied.
"We are prepared with the spell though. Would it not make sense for us to start?" Snails asked.
"We dont want to take on more guards especially raise the alarm between the princesses." Snips replied sternly closing the conversation. "Come let us not stay their end further." Snips and Snails then galloped off, once they reached the gate the guards levitated their battle axes with alarm.
"Are you one with the dark one?" The asked as their eyes burned onto their coat. Snips and Snails then looked at each other and nodded. Their horns started to glow black as the guards dropped their battle axes and black wisp escaped from their eyes. Snails and Snips smiled evilly their plan had worked. "Go to Sunset Shimmer castle and wait there." Snips said sternly.
"Yes sir." They marched off into the distance towards Sunset Shimmer's castle. Snips and Snails entered the castle as it was crawling with guards marching through each and every hallway. They were prepared for any attack, except this one. Snips and Snails horn glowed black as they guards marching by dropped their battle axes and turned towards their new leaders. "Go to Sunset Shimmers castle and wait their for her orders." Snips said sternly.
"Yes sir!" They all marched through the gates and toward Sunset Shimmers castle.
"We still need more guards. There aren't enough to take over ponyville." Snails said concerned about the princesses thoughts of how many guards she wanted.
"Maybe....Lets just go thought eh hallways and see what we can find. This place is crawling with guards." Snips replied.
"Maybe but if we meet the princess we must use our magic immediately. Maybe we should just take her out now." Snails said excitedly. He made armor appear on himself he looked just like a guard.
"Very well Snails. She shall fall as well as her guards." Snips made armor like Snail's appear on him. He then pushed his way into a hallway that was bright as ever. Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne her mane flowing as she was reading a scroll from Twilight. "Snails now!" Snips exclaimed as their horns lit up and all the guards then were at their very command. They ordered them to Sunset Shimmer's castle quickly as the princess dropped her scroll.
"If it is a fight she wants a fight she will get!" Celestia's gem on her necklace grew a bright purple as a sword was summoned from it. Celestia then lowered a helmet onto herself as armor started to piece together on her. "This will be easy." Celestia said with a grin on her face.
"Oh my princess, i'm sure you have been defeated once it will not bother us to put you through the same pain." Snails exclaimed as he levitated a battle ax off the ground that once belonged to a guard.
Celestia let out a final "hmph" as she spread her wings and flew at Snips and Snails. Snips held his battle ax high as he blocked her sword, causing sparks to fly as their weapons flew at each other. Each force stronger than the other. Snails then levitated his battle ax and slashed Celestia with it with impenetrable force. She was slammed into the wall, they both smiled with satisfaction of their faces. Celestia was on the ground as she raised her head. She was still alive but wounded badly from the fight.
"This is not over...." She gasped out weakly as she tried to regain her breath.
"I dont agree princess." Snails said as they exited the room. Celestia's eyes narrowed as her head fell into the same place again. The princess was sitting on her throne waiting for Snips and Snails to return with the guards. She heard a rumble of hooves marching towards her castle.
"Maybe it's an attack! Sent by Celestia!" She was trying to come up with a plan in her head. She heard the doors open and then marched in an army of ponies. All of them had purple wisp escaping from their eyes. "Finally! My army has arrived I hope Snips and Snails have escaped." Sunset Shimmer said with a pleasant grin on her face. Soon, Snips and Snails galloped in and used their magic to close the door shut.
"Your majesty, Princess Celestia has fallen. We have succeeded." Snips and Snails said panting.
"Very well my plan shall go perfectly than." Sunset Shimmer said getting off her throne. "Now bow before me!" She barked at all the guards and her servants. Snips and Snails slowly lowered themselves as the guards did. "Snips and Snails I need you to make some weapons for me. You know the basics, cannons, swords, and battle axes." Sunset Shimmer said as she was examining the guards. "Now!" She yowled at them as they raced off. Sunset Shimmer ordered the guards to the court to guard her. Sunset Shimmer then returned to her bed for a nights rest. "I must see what is going on with my lover." Sunset Shimmer grinned as she saw Flash trying to help her princess up. Her wounds were still minor from the battle. "Soon Twilight will be out of the picture! And me and my Flash will be together!" She laughed evilly, obviously amused by her plan. "Now to get some rest!" Her horn lit up as the door slammed shut and the covers flowed over her like a gentle breeze was carrying them.
