Just a little Scootafluff one-shot written for (and winner of!) Weekly Contest 26.

Toby, local human, and Rainbow Dash often spend a quiet Friday evening getting pleasantly sozzled because why not? It's a nice thing to do on a Friday evening sometimes, some friendly drunkeness between friends.

Of course, getting sozzled can sometimes impact one's decision-making abilities, and lead to certain decisions being made that normally wouldn't and probably shouldn't.

This is probably one of those times.

I never stopped thinking about you. Not once. Every day, I remembered your voice, your smile, your eyes. And every time it hurt worse than I could have ever imagined. And each day was worse than the last. I love you. More than anything in Equestria. More than flying, more than the Wonderbolts, more than my wings, I love you, Twilight. Goodbye.

Reluctantly, Dash and Fluttershy delve into a tale. A tale of a young Fluttershy's amazement at the world she had landed upon, and a filly Dash's desperate quest to save her from that most evil of places: THE GROUND.

Cliff, being a man of science, is busily working on a method of returning home.

But he also has a side project he tinkers with whenever he's not working on that, and today seems as good a day as any to give the thing a proper field test!

In an otherworldly night, a sleeper train is making its way back from the frozen north. Sleep, however, is eluding two travelers. One has a hurt that needs to be mended, the other has a dream that must be remembered. It is the perfect night for secrets to be shared.

A FlutterDash one-shot, set at the end of The Crystal Empire, on the overnight train back to Canterlot; uncomplicated romance with slight sad and comedy elements.
