After Twilight Sparkle reopens her School of Friendship she decides, as an act of diplomacy, to hold another Friends and Family Day to prove her school is different this time. Almost everyone agrees that this is was a good call and has a good time, but one earth pony refuses to and it's up to his griffon friend to try and change that.

This is a Season 8 story, based on only the first two episodes. Which means I'll probably have to mark this under Alternate Universe eventually.

After receiving a letter from Griffonstone, Gallus is found by Sandbar lying in a field and staring up at the stars. Sandbar asks if he’s okay, but the griffon is defensive. What is it that’s bothering the Gallus?

A chance encounter in Professor Fluttershy's class makes Sandbar ponder Ocellus in a new light. Namely, what makes a changeling... a changeling? And not a spider or an insect? Thankfully, he has his friends to talk to, and together they arrive at an articulate and scientific conclusion.

Yona and Sandbar have been going steady for about 3 months now, and all their other friends find it cute. However, maybe they've gone too fast in this relationship when Sandbar tells them they've done... IT!

Ocellus finds a love letter in her locker asking her to meet by the big tree. Her friends as happy for her as she comes to terms with the idea of having someone special in her life. Meanwhile, Sandbar, who has feelings for Ocellus, feels upset that he wasn't fast enough to confesses to her.
