Blueblood is known as the Pompous Prince of Canterlot, always stuck up and acting all high and mighty. However not all is as it seems on the surface. Out of all of Celestia's nieces and nephews, Blueblood seemed to always be in her favor.

While at a weekend-long diplomatic summit, Prince Blueblood and Dragon Lord Ember do not hit it off well and both take the encounter personally. So much so, Ember goes well out of her way so to arrange her spending the rest of the weekend at Blueblood's mansion, just so she can spend it driving him up the wall.

Tempers are inflamed, property is damaged, and fires are started.

And yet, somehow, this arrangement might just work out okay after all.

Of all the royal figures who lead Equestria, much is known of most of them. Celestia and Luna came from parts unknown and were offered the crown by the founders of the nation. Cadance was an orphan of distant noble descent who was raised by a humble village. Twilight was a lonely bookworm who eventually became one of the greatest heroes in history.

The prince, however, has very little in the way of backstory. How did he become a prince, since the title does not award itself? What is the meaning of his cutie mark? If he grew up with Celestia, as is sometimes speculated, then how did he get on with Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, or with Spike?
