It has been ten years since the industrial revolution changed Equestria forever, a decade of prosperity for some, but a decade of torture for Rainbow Dash, whose desk job has slowly been draining the life from her body. Every day, she moves further away from other ponies, and the memories of her days of friendship and comraderie, when she could fly high and free, are little more than a fading memory. There's no use for the wings of a pegasus anymore, and flying has been banned in between the smokestacks and skyscrapers which make up the cities of Equestria. After so many years, she can barely even remember the feel of the wind beneath her wings.

Twilight Sparkle, the revolutionary genius who changed Equestria forever, was to blame. But not as much as herself.

Nopony knows how winds are truly made in Equestria...

Except that they do.

But a surprising number of foals, including Rumble, still believed the many horror stories about the Wind Mill. Today, he will find out about the truth.

It's do or die time.

Button doesn't get out much, but tonight he will. Tonight, he's going to party.

And, you know, resolve the hoard of personal issues he's built up in the past few years. Stuff involving his best friend and his own mind and the fact that he needs to be alone sometimes. But that'll be easy. He has a whole night to do it, right? He'll get it done. Hopefully.

Probably not.

Maybe.

Days before the new school year begins, Rumble still finds himself struggling with an essay he was given at the beginning of the summer. Now with only two days to solve his dilemma, he's forced to leave his room and seek help from outside.

Hopefully he can find a safe haven to work on it before the world decides to rain on his parade.

Sweetie Belle's friends have been tired of Button's and Sweetie's relationship. And that was because there WAS no relationship. Will they go to drastic measures to get them together?

Tender Taps, Rumble and Button Mash have started to like the cmc more and more and have discovered that they have feelings for the girls but how are you supposed to tell them that?
Meanwhile the cmc also talk about those colts and how they too have a crush on them... yeah this is gonna be an awkward love story...

The Solar Empire took another life today.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders are the best of friends, but when life sets them on different paths, can their friendship survive? Will they find a way to bridge the growing gap between them?

While the Mane 6 are away on royal business, the three rambunctious fillies find their lives changing. They are growing up, and growing apart. Without the guidance of their older sisters, these fillies will have to find their own answers. Their single-minded focus on finding their cutie marks is no longer enough to build a friendship on.

Rumble is a great flyer, and more diligent in his training than anypony else; but he's still not at the level he should be, if he plans to make it as a future Wonderbolt. Why are some ponies—like Rainbow Dash, like his brother Thunderlane, like his best friend Eddy—born with all the talent in the world, while ponies like him have to suffer just to attain mediocrity?
