Our favourite and freshly reformed Draconequis is performing his first task for Celestia.
The real story begins when he sees a certain fiddle playing mare in town and decides to have a little fun.

As Twilight Sparkle prepares for her coronation, she can't help but worry about what the future holds. Normally, this would be the time for a good book, perhaps a biography, to shed some light on how she should react to this sudden change in her life, but it seems no pony has have ever been where she is now.

With Celestia busy with coronation preparations, Twilight has no idea where to turn for advice, but this time, advice seems to have found her.

Discord does not particularly care for Fluttershy's friend, Tree Hugger. So when she comes over to have her monthly mane treatment session with her, Discord directs her to the one mane stylist that could possibly make her mane worse: Zephyr Breeze.

Oh boy. Zephyr Breeze. The worst pony, hands down. Can he hold a fic on his own? Honestly, yeah.
Shakespearicles™ plays up Zephyr's innate patheticness to the right note while also showing he has, against all odds, improved himself and is at least apparently able to survive on his lonesome. Good for Zeph, I guess.
What surprises me about this is that it isn't shipping-shipping? At least, not yet. The narrative is clearly headed in that direction, and while I wouldn't say Tree Hugger deserves this guy, she could probably fix him.
I did absolutely appreciate that she is both more down to earth in this story than her one episode, and also grows pot in her basement. Also, there was a fun gag about love spells that I very much appreciated.
In all, this is a very nice little story about two characters who you don't see used a whole lot, and it promises more in the future, by which I mean there's a sequel that I will definitely want to read at some point.

Twilight Sparkle has finally perfected a device allowing ponies to speak to each other over great distances. Unfortunately, the first call she receives is from Pinkie. Things go downhill from there.

Fluttershy, confronted by eons of loneliness and isolation, was left alone with her memories of a world she had left behind countless years ago. The eternal life of a princess was never meant to be easy, but with the constant loss of all she cared about, pony and critter alike, she could not help but slowly waste away. That was, until she finally decided to consult her last friend with a most unsavory proposal.

Rarity and Discord are sent on a mission by the friendship map during the holiday season. Can they save Hearth's Warming for these Manehatten fans of the punk aesthetic, or will they only cause more chaos.

It's probably going to be a little bit of both.
