For now the fires have been put out and the bodies laid to rest but, the future remains uncertain in this new regime.

Some hold tight the names they carried before the sun was stolen away, others have taken the chance to reinvent themselves completely. It’s a slim chance anypony remembers who you were before the Fall of Night.

This makes your job as a royal census taker quite difficult, especially since your predecessor’s records were, unfortunately, completely lost in the conversion of Canterlot Castle from capitol to penitentiary.

In any case, what better place to start than the crossroads of this new Equestria, a growing district just outside the Old Everfree and New Castle of the Night: Ponyville.

Spike has been feeling like he and twilight have been growing apart and sorta blames the rest of the mare 6 for taking her away. Can he make a bond with them of his own and have them as best friends? Meanwhile Twilight has been feeling guilty of leaving Spike depressed lately. But what happens when her friends start to take Spike from her?

Author's Note: I haven't written for a looong time, and this story has been sitting in my drafts since 2021. I pretty much completely forgot about it, and I don't particularly intend to finish it, but I do like the setup I'd created and figure it would be better to publish it as incomplete than let it be unviewable. So here it is!

Chrysalis is banished, hoping to put down new roots outside Equestria. But when she discovers an ancient kingdom, her past comes into focus. Meanwhile two changelings conspire against her leadership, but their motives change as the situation evolves.

After Arizona's battle with Oleander and FHTNG leaves her unconscious, Paprika carries her away to safety.

Though she at first struggles to understand Paprika, they will form a bond that may change the course of her adventure and of Foenum itself.

A baby step for an attempt at finishing the story we may never see completed.

I can't know or write the story Mane 6 would have told, but I can try to tell my own while respecting their vision: without the limits or opportunities of story mode gameplay.

Not a crossover or a shipping story.

There are two retcons here: that Paprika carried Arizona out of the temple instead of Arizona waking up on her own, and that the RSS Donner/Prancer stayed at port for a few days instead of leaving in the morning.

Since Velvet and Stronghoof appear to understand her, I chalk it up her incomprehensibility to an accent and a speech impediment.

To represent Arizona initially struggling to understand Paprika, I've mimicked the Papdings system used to code what she said: there will be a key alongside a spoilered, plaintext version below.

Starlight Glimmer has been a Programmer in The Equestria for her entire life, working with the vast computer cores that maintain and operate the ship.
As Celestia, one of those cores, takes an interest in her happiness, Starlight finds herself seeking unorthodox methods to analyze her own personality and needs.

This is an entry into the Science Fiction Contest III by Bicyclette.

Turns out Trixie Lulamoon isn't as great and powerful as she says. After the loss of her only friend, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie returns to her caravan. She recalls the death of her mother, and loss of everypony she has cared about. Perhaps her life is a lost cause?

After Zhiizoo is soundly asleep, her companion Queen Latexia goes out of her room, in order to abduct Zhiizoo’s younger sister Saqura.

Once in the younger girl’s room, she quietly subdues the girl and have her walk back to the older sister’s room.

The next morning; Saqura finds herself in a comfortable bed, only to realize that she is being eaten. She just don’t know by whom, assuming it is her older sister.

How will Saqura react, as she wakes up? What is next? She still has no idea.

Cadence, for the longest time, has had a dream of ruling over Equestria. Unfortunately, when her husband Shining Armor started getting in her way, she decides the only way to get him out of the way was permanently.

Everything went to plan. As far as the Crystal Empire knew, Shining Armor vanished overnight without a trace. Search parties were launched, investigations started, and nopony thought poor old Princess Cadence could ever.

It's just such a shame that Shining Armor came back.
