Twilight seeks out the historical facts behind the bedtime story that was her favorite when she was a foal. She learns that the truths found in stories are sometimes more important than the facts.

One day, a pegasus messenger stumbles into the palace and collapses at the foot of Celestia's throne, too exhausted to even stand. He had flown in all the way from the Badlands in order to deliver his news in time.

The changelings are coming.

Now it is up to Princess Celestia to figure out the changeling question before it is too late. Why do they attack in the open when their strength lies with deception? Why do they consume by force when kindness and generosity would help them more? What sort of thoughts lurk in the mind of a creature that consumes emotion?

If she can understand Chrysalis, maybe she can avert the oncoming disaster.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic What If?: Volume 16

Make Your Mark is slated to end soon and G5 seems to be continuing solely with Tell Your Tale, but there's still lots of unexplored areas of G4 to look into. It's that time again, time for that series which dares to ask and seeks to answer that fateful question "What if that episode had been written differently?"

There's only ten episodes to cover for this volume, and every season but Seasons 3, 7, and 8 will have at least one episode covered. Season 4, however, will get the lion's share, including two redos from earlier volumes.

By now I really don't need to say it, but I'm saying it anyway just to be safe: The episodes rewritten are based on my personal opinion so please respect it. Don't get offended if an episode you liked is on the list here, or an episode you didn't like isn't on this list. I'll gladly respect your opinions if you respect mine.

Princess Celestia has brought prosperity to Equestria after her return from exile from the throne, despite the initial distrust between her and her ponies. But with the return of Nightmare Moon coming closer, she stands to lose everything, and is forced to ask herself what makes a good ruler.

And if she's ever been one to begin with.

Princess Celestia is an immortal princess, so it makes sense she has had many students. But when a number of mistakes leads three of them to abandon their studies, Celestia vows to not make the same mistakes with the remaining student. But what lead them to leave anyway?

So my first story. This is a prequel of sorts to the main universe. The universe that is yet to be published. This universe shall be named... The SpoJuverse! All will become clear. Soon.

Written for Memorial Day 2014. Farn Baumrinde returns from the recent war in the Crystal Empire on a very special day, one which holds very special significance to him. Partially inspired by "A Cup of Joe" by The Descendant.

Equestria has warp technology! (Mostly due to a crashed Federation shuttle or two!) With it, their invitation to the Federation of planets is sealed. As the first Human/Equestrian ship is ready to leave port with its crew complement of exactly one thousand. Standing tall at half a kilometer in height, and 2/3 a kilometer in length from aft to bow the "USS Harmony" is ready for service! Their maiden voyage is scheduled for stardate 81144; with a crew that consists of seven hundred ponies and three hundred humans they are unlike any other!

These are the Harmony's's journeys through the known and the unknown...
