When unicorn Phoenix Flame hears the story of a lost relic as a child, she makes it her life's mission to show everyone that the relic exists. Along her way, she makes new friends who join her on her quest, and together they embark on an adventure that will change their lives forever. Only time will tell if the change is for the better or worse.

Note: Technically, this is a rewrite of a story I did a few years ago that has since been deleted. I was not fond of how I started the story then, so I got rid of it and did not think about it for over a year. However, I miss the ideas and characters I created so I am trying again.

Tirek, released on parole, becomes a toxic influence on the yaks. The only creature able to understand him enough to turn him back to the light of friendship must be the obnoxious testosterone-ridden Iron Will. But that minotaur's will is tested after a series of bad decisions. Once yaks maraud, though, it's up to the two bodybuilders to stop an ancient yovidaphone before its evil wind blows the Crystal Empire apart.

* This starts as a Comedy/Drama in chapter one and is more of an Adventure in chapter two.

It's up to sunset shimmer, Matt Crystal and the rest of the survivors from the city and the other universes, from the help of pibby and her friends to stop the darkness for good and save everyone.

With the arrival of a cool autumn day, it seems the perfect occasion for Rarity to take Hondo out to spend some time together. Perhaps this weather will do him some good, keep him grounded, keep him calm. Maybe bring him back longer this time around. Goodness knows, they could both use that. Goodness knows, Rarity would rather be focusing on him right now, rather than, say, the ring burning a hole in her purse.

But this is a day that invites introspection. It invites memory. And for Rarity, still reeling from fresh wounds, that's the most painful part.
