My story, Scary Stories, was the only story without any downvotes. But when I checked on right now, I saw that I got 1 downvote. I was wondering when it would come because the story had gone on so long without any downvotes.
What are you're thoughts on such actions? When someone posts a really awful story, and it gets downvote bombed, as in a massive of amount of downvotes in a short space of time. Topped off with a truck load of hate comments.
The story is often very controversial, or is just a plain troll fic.
Sometimes.... I do actually care about downvotes for a story I written... but that's only if I made a story that's I wanted others to somewhat like. But even then I don't really care that much.
However, if I was writing a pure trollfic, then I don't care at all. I'm kinda looking for downvotes for that story.
What are your thoughts?

Has my writing really dropped so much in quality? Has my brain rotted or something, making me a bad writer?
Now I keep a close eye on my story ratings especially whenever I release a chapter (I mean who doesn't?) Now before I get any complaints on another blog post ranting and whining about negative views I would like to point out I will not be ranting/whining about it this time... I'm just curious... is there is a relationship between a release of what might be unliked/mixed chapter that is necessary for characterization and a sharp uptick of nopes?
I noticed something that made me just a bit sad today.
EDIT: it seems to now have two less upvotes and nine less downvotes than before. I wonder what would cause that like do banned accounts get their votes on stuff taken away?

Fourth time someone has gone and disliked pretty much all my stories. Not sure why, but it makes ratings increasingly hard for me to take seriously here. Probably didn't even bother to read anything beyond the tags of one story and got offended.
Everytime I or other people post a comment, usually about something related to either my questions, projects, etc, someone keeps downvoting them. But who keeps downvoting them and why?
Sorry for being rude, but this is not only something that I've experienced for a while, but also something that someone else brought up as well.
Can someone tell me and others who keeps doing that and why? Again, sorry for being rude.

(Edit: I feel it is worth mentioning that I have no intention of making any more blogs of this type regarding Detritus. I've said nearly all I have to say on it now, and they likely serve no purpose to anyone who actually wanted to track the story.)
The downvotes start comin' and they don't stop comin'. 
Got my first downvote today, and honestly, I was just as happy about it as I was about the upvotes. Except there's one little issue...
Whoever downvoted didn't tell me what they thought was wrong. Did they just dislike it on principle? Was the pacing bad? The dialogue? If you don't tell me what I did wrong, how can I improve?
I'm starting to run out of dumb ideas for this story. Fortunately, the internet is a fount of endless stupidity. So please, pitch me your stupidest ideas. No pitch is too stupid. The only qualifier is that they shouldn't require a ton of effort. Remember, my entire shtick is that I'm lazy as fuck, that's why I write shitfics. Also while this story is rated Everyone, feel free to pitch mature ideas as well as I'm thinking about writing a Mature-rated spinoff for Dirty Little Secret's clopfic

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you all know that I might be making an attempt to advertise in The Shameless Self-Promotion Bureau again. I know they don't like me over there, but I'd rather risk the downvotes than fall into obscurity. Besides, I'm done worrying about downvotes. They don't matter anymore, and neither do the people who leave them.
I recently published a funny/silly short story with a friendship moral.
The moral was shown (not told) that you can be friends and friendly to other ponies, even if it’s someone different and inferior to yourself. The story used Celestia and Twilight (and with slight contrast from Luna) as good examples of being nice, while having an OC as inferior.
Needless to say it got downvoted into oblivion with 100% pure downvotes! (Not a single upvote.)

Or maybe it was because of something bad that I said. The reason why I ask this is because I've been getting a lot of downvotes along with others getting downvotes when I'm involved, especially in my comments and I don't know why I started getting so many of them recently.
