A story post-mortem is something I've done for all my other stories, and it appears that this one demands its due as well--it won't leave my head until I've poured out all my extant thoughts about it. Fair enough, story. You win. Let's talk about it, shall we?

SO, when reviewing the initial run of "Between The Light And The Shade" with my family, the overall opinion was that it was "well-written, sad but good". While I've been working on little bits here and there unrelated to Mind Over Midnight, I've been having difficulties. Nothing really sticks, well nothing that isn't a big long epic in my head and right now I want little palate cleansers.
Well, this was going to go up in autumn when I first put it on the schedule, but the intervening time in Maretime Bay shoved it into a much less thematically appropriate timeslot. So it goes; let’s close out the four royal seasons and see what’s worth remembering about this book.
I definitely had two MLP-themed dreams last night, but it might've been more since some of what happened in the first didn't gel with the rest.
