In all seriousness, of course I was more than happy to judge a contest about my favorite MLP pairing, especially as I'll be too busy writing my longform story about them to justify doing an entry myself. And with FimFic's SciSet well having gone rather dry of late (even the Spring Fling contest had a whopping one dedicated SciSet entry, two if you count a DemonMidnight entry), this is the perfect time to get things going again and revive the love between our two favorite dorky gay nerds.

There aren't too many rules with this contest. Keep things E- or T-rated, and make sure SciSet is the focus of the story. (Good old-fashioned baconhorse and science human is always welcomed, but if you want to put a little twist on the pairing, note that Midnight Sparkle counts as Sci-Twi, and DemonShimmer, Daydream Shimmer, and human Sunset are valid for Sunset as well.) There's no word limit, and you have until September 17, 2023 at 8pm EDT to add your submissions. Make sure you've joined the Bike's Personal Contests group, where you can submit your entries to this folder.

Crossovers are allowed as long as they're understandable for people who aren't familiar with the thing being crossed over with. (i.e. yes, but tread carefully.)
Well, what can I say, people do more original pairings these days.
And not to mention It's really difficult to make something especially good when too many ideas had been done in the past when people were more obsessed with it…
However Seeing old ideas done better is also a rare treat, (it's more difficult than usual though) So I think it's fair to say we're all quite eager to see what can people come up with~
