Chapter 2 is in progress — probably around half way done. It's going to be a lot longer than chapter 1, perhaps as long as 6000 words, and will contain two interleaved story lines, following Lyra's arrival in the human world, and Bon Bon and Twilight Sparkle's activities back in Equestria.

My utmost, sincerest apologies for how long it's taken. I did not expect to be out of commission for nearly this long. I promise I haven't lost interest, not even slightly. In fact I've been actively adding and modifying my notes this entire time, and been working on a premise for some bonus chapters, and changing some other things around. It's a weird experience to have a popular story after six years on this website. After a sporadic influx of stories every few months, the one that gets me to the top of the page is the one about a self-insert character played absolutely straight. Compare this to my now second most popular story, The Right Reads. That took a few years to build up to its 800 views (though admittedly the first 300 came when I first published
So, I finally did something beneficial to my hobby as a writer. For the past few years, I've been stuck, unable to simply continue. Long story short, I wrote several hundred stories well into about 4-10k words, and then lost interest.
Normally I wouldn’t be putting up a Sunday post. But this post is different, different enough that I’m going to make an exception.
So, I've been busy for the past month working on a cyber-security test. Thankfully, I passed it two days ago, so I can get back to work on my little Blueblood story, and I've only got the last third to go. After that, I'm not sure what I'll be working on, but I'll try to get to the next chapter as soon as I can (mainly since I know the most about what to do with it).
Aside from a single post on a single story, and my page header, this will be the first thing that I write, for FIMFiction. So where to begin...

Ok so I'm majorly requested to make summaries of the future chapters of the season 6 story, so I'm going to give a short summary of what the next chapter will be about. If you don't want spoilers, please avoid this.
Rarity has a new dress to advertise over at Canterlot Carousel Boutique, and she asks Sassy Saddles to model her in the dress for her. The show was so successful that Sassy is asked to model for Fashion Plate for his magazine, but that would also take time away from the boutique.
After a decade of writing the story, constructing the manuscript, creating images for each of the six parts, tonnes of formatting, far too much trial and error, and spending 5 hours straight creating a front cover dust jacket at the end, it's finally done!
Checking some statistics I found that one of my recent stories, You Can't Break me Discord, is doing really well. In fact it has over 600 views in it's first 20 days.
