So, I've been busy for the past month working on a cyber-security test. Thankfully, I passed it two days ago, so I can get back to work on my little Blueblood story, and I've only got the last third to go. After that, I'm not sure what I'll be working on, but I'll try to get to the next chapter as soon as I can (mainly since I know the most about what to do with it).
Also, I've been having a few thoughts here and there. Don't worry, it's probably nothing that'll pan into another unfinished story (yet, I don't think), but I can't help how my mind works. When it gets an idea, it really crunches the numbers. At the moment, I'm focused on one: Back to the Future... with ponies.
Of late, I've been rewatching the Back to the Future movies. First was great, second turned into a cartoon, third reversed some of the damage, and I'm going through the fourth (the game) now. Thus, I've formed a few opinions and found some things that don't add up or things I'd like to improve. Not to mention I'd love to put ponies in the roles.
Normally, a straight-up novelization is against the site rules as plagiarism. However, as I said, I do want to change several things up about the story, like what The Best Night Ever does to Groundhog Day. Not to mention I've got several things in the movie to poke fun at, so that would fall at least partly under parody (legitimate parody). Still, it'd be delicate work and would require some thought, so this idea might take a while to finalize, mainly because I want to tie everything together better than the films did, actually give the Jennifer analog something to do, things like that.
So yeah, that's how things have been. I'll be done with the next chapter of Blueblood soon, then... I guess I'll be working on something else. Probably the next chapter of Blueblood: it's next in the list and it's been a while since I've worked on that one. Although I do want to get back to Scrap Basket. My gosh, it's been over a year since I've done anything with that!
