State of the author - Commissions open!

So, yeah. I'm taking commissions. I figured I could use the money and I have enough examples here for a portfolio, so I thought 'why not'. I'd like to emphasize that I'll still be working on my Blueblood and Zephyr stories free of charge. However, right now, I'm putting up some more non-pony stuff on my Furaffinity and DeviantArt pages (which are under the same name as here), so that I can appeal to a greater market.

So, those of you who might be interested, here are my terms:

• Unless this is an art trade, I charge a penny per word, USD, a hundred words for a dollar. Everything's paid up front.
• Right now, my maximum is 5000 words. If I go over our agreed word count, though, you won't be billed for the difference.
• Content-wise, I focus on romance, slice of life, adventure, fantasy/sci-fi, and comedy.
• While explicit sex, gore, and bodily waste are out, I'm willing to entertain various erotic themes (though I'll be focusing on the plot). Anything that might cause political debate will be kept to flavor text only, and I reserve the right to veto that.
• I'll do fanfiction, but do bear in mind I might not be aware of your fandom. I'll be relying on you to keep me in the right on that.
• You reserve the rights to any characters you've created, and you may post the story anywhere you like under your accounts, but you must credit me as the writer, and I have the right to post it on my own accounts wherever I like.

Here's the process:

1. You PM me with your idea. This must include characters, setting (including fandom if applicable), and a basic plot synopsis.
2. Based on that (should I accept it), I will draw up a more detailed plot synopsis, just to make sure I've got it down. I'll send you a link to a Google Drives file that contains it.
3. Once you agree to that, if this isn't an art trade, I will send you an invoice. This must be paid before I start work. If this is an art trade, then skip this step.
4. Once I've received payment, I'll start working on the story proper, in the Google drive file with the synopsis. You'll be perfectly free to ask for changes, and I will abide you if I can (bound by my terms and good taste), but the basic plot is set in stone, and I will not give refunds.
5. Once the story is done, I will let you know so that you can suggest any final changes. Once everything is cleared up, I will send you a file with the story.
