Lyra x Lyra - chapter 2

Thanks muchly for all the positive feedback and all the favouriting of Lyra x Lyra.

Chapter 2 is in progress — probably around half way done. It's going to be a lot longer than chapter 1, perhaps as long as 6000 words, and will contain two interleaved story lines, following Lyra's arrival in the human world, and Bon Bon and Twilight Sparkle's activities back in Equestria.

(I should probably mention that in my headcanon, the pink and blue maned pony associated with Lyra is called "Sweetie Drops", but "Bon Bon" is a pet name used only by Lyra. So if I seem to be switching from one name to another, that's why!)

Here's a quick teaser...

"She's mine!" said Pinkie Pie.

"No, she's mine!" argued Applejack.

Both ponies were tugging on Rainbow Dash's legs. Fluttershy watched them fighting. The yellow pegasus seemed to want to interject, but was being ignored by the other three ponies.

"It's obvious she's meant to be with me!" said Pinkie, yanking at Rainbow's hoof, and stretching her out, in what looked to be a very painful tug of war.

"But I called her first," said Applejack, "I mean, look at her! Those strong legs, that lean rump... I want her! I NEED her!"

Sweetie Drops wasn't sure what the mares were arguing about, and wasn't sure that she wanted to know. But she was afraid to interrupt.

Pinkie Pie saw the look of discomfort on Rainbow Dash's face, as she was being pulled this way and that, and suddenly let go. Applejack fell over, with Rainbow Dash landing on top of her.

"Fine," relented Pinkie Pie, "you have her. I hope the two of you are very happy together!"

Could this be the end of the RainbowPie OTP? You'll have to wait to find out...
