Hey everyone! Just here to say that the new chapter will be dropping in a couple days! There’s gonna be 11,000 some words total for reading. It’s honestly fantastic to finally write chapters at a much more reasonable pace than what’s currently been happening for this story.

Welcome back to the ten or so of you who are following along. Time for another chapter. Well, chapters. With how short they've been and how little's been happening, I'm going to start combining them for some.
In our last chapter, it was noticed that there had been a sudden rise in members of the clergy either committing suicide or dying mysteriously. Now, the chief has ordered Kirkland to investigate.
Let's see what clues he picks up as we get into chapter five.
Forever Mare has been newly edited and revised for print. This includes new content and corrections too. The old, shorter version is still accessible through Missing Pages. Two common pieces of advice for writing horror, and why they miss the mark.
I've wanted to write this one for a while, but a recent discussion in #writing-help (yes, that #writing-help) got me thinking about it again.
New characters, completely different time period, and a whole heckin' lotta lore's gonna be comin' y'all's way!

As I go on writing and fleshing out her character she just makes me so happy! Cute and quirky and soft just wdagjsv;asg. Is it normal to like your characters this much? I have so much fun writing her, seeing her learn about and interact with the world. How she grows, it just makes me so happy. Joyful even. It's been such a fun project so far, and I'm so excited to keep pushing forward! There's so much more to come, and I've hardly even gotten into the thick of it yet. I appreciate everyone
Welcome back, writers! It’s the first Being a Better Writer article post LTUE! So, in fact, maybe that should also be “Welcome, new writers,” because there may be a number of you checking out Unusual Things for the first time post-convention.

There's some IRL stuff demanding my attention at the moment. While I'm working on that, I'll be thinking of ideas for my story 20-04. I got so sick of feeling down all the time, so I wrote something to poke fun at the stuff I liked. If you guys are up to it, you can read it here.
So, on top of getting some new music to add to my collection (Rammstein's latest album 'ZEIT' finally showed up, and picked up two albums of Unleash the Archers), which will no doubt give me more ideas to play with, I've also managed to finish a brand new chapter in "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children"! Just gonna get it looked at by my best friend and best editor, and then I'll decide on when I wanna post it. Might actually try to get another chapter done before then so I can have some
I don't think I had a lot of issues with motivation when it came to wanting to do things growing up. I thought it was a motivation issue, but later I learned it could be chalked up to executive dysfunction. (ADHD go brr) Thanks to meds I now have a far better handle on executive function but have no idea how to actually keep myself motivated with a project.
