Greetings my fellow bronies from around the world. Here we are for the seventh segment of Need an Idea!
NOTE: The following is an interview conducted by my good friend the dobermans, who requested that I host it on my blog as well. Be sure to check out his stuff, as well as that of the author we placed in the spotlight here.
The interview itself may be found after the break. Enjoy!
My little bro sometimes hangs out in my bedroom from time to time when he's bored and isn't in the mood to deck out his car. Sometimes -SOMETIMES - he'll go on my Xbox to play a game. And I enjoy this. I like having him in my room to play a game with me or on his own.
The thing is...
He doesn't really play video games.
When Toriel comes into your bedroom with the butterscotch pie and lays it on the floor...
She turned around after exiting the room and says to you, "Goodnight my child."
And THEN closes the door, screen fading to black.
If this wouldn't make the ending perfect what do YOU think would have made it so?
Only people who have played Undertale or spoiled the ending for themselves can answer this.
Come on, how could I pass up a blog title opportunity like that?
In any case, this week, it's the introduction of the almighty force of professionalism that is Ms. Harshwhinny. And, you know, some other stuff.
I'm still gonna do the inspired story, but it might not be the next publish because it will be a multi-chapter. I have about a dozen things going at the same time and it's kind of stopping me from completing anything.
I expect that to stop relatively soon, though. Eventually, something has to bubble to the surface.
Not interested in a debate over which pony is "best" overall, but who is your best pony, and what do you like about them?
I guess I'll go first…
Because what you needed today was a story about depression, right?
Hah. Hahaha. Haha. Hah.
...it's really not that funny at all. But that's okay. Right?
...right?
Enjoy.

So I've been getting electroshock lately. Initially it wasn't working well because they did it too far to the front, to avoid my neurostimulator which is in the right side of my face.
"Why did we have to go so far, Paladin Forge?" Meadow Sweet pressed her head up against the window of the Skimmer, watching the ocean blast by below them. She had seen so many incredible things over the last few months, the least of which had been her initial recovery. Much of those early months had passed in a blur of travel, spent in one of Athena's Skimmers.
This one took about two hours to write instead of the usual one, but I think it was worth it. Right before the end, I hit a place where the scene would be so long and detailed it deserves a fiction of its own, so I'm going to save that one to write another day. I can't make these this long normally, or else I'll defeat the purpose of this exercise. Was still fun though.
Hey everypony! For those who were upset about the end of Earth Without Us, worry not! The next story in the series has just been released, and you can read it here:
