Okay, so I haven't posted a blog for over a week and my bloggy finger is getting itchy.
Okay, so I haven't posted a blog for over a week and my bloggy finger is getting itchy.
If you hadn't encountered their stories here, Ceffyl Dwr had quite a talent for writing. I had not read enough of their stories but the ones I did read were fine works. From Here You Can See it All in particular was exceptionally moving, and I went back to it several times in spite of the tears it brought forth.
My Be an Author series provides advice and tips on how to be an author. Writing well is fundamental to being an author, but my articles will also address the writing life. While I discuss much that is applicable to FimFiction, my background is that I am an SF author. As such, I will address real world writing issues from my experience and, arguably, some of it will be my opinion on subjects. I do recommend reading the comments my readers have left as they have given me an
(100 percent accurate image of Dark Chocolate) :D
Check it out! My friend Dark Chocolate interviewed me about stories! You can find stuff about "Equus Metamorphosis" as well as a new story coming up about a very serious time in my life...
I went to EFNW again this year! Was so much fun, even if my health grated on me being able to do all I wanted to. RIP Ponystock and most of Saturday </3 (sorry to my friends).
And, I was able to compete in the Iron Author competition!
Slightly topical because Zyrian wasn't allowed into the party because alcohol was present, hehe. Sorry, Z!
Serves you right for growing those stupid wings, Twilight! ^^
Brief update on bronycon, it was awesome! I was lucky enough to sight Nowhacking and Eile Monty after some looking at the vendor hall and got autographs! Huzzah ^^
AN ADMISSION
As I wait for this story to post, I wonder how many downvotes it'll get. Probably several.
IN WHICH I ACTUALLY POSTED IT
After well over a month of procrastination, I've finally, FINALLY posted Anon-A-Fix. But first, have some Babymetal.
I do have a few things to say about this story long-in-the-making after the jump, if you'll follow me.
...I gotta say, I was really hoping to pull off one last one.
IN WHICH A LONG STRANGE TRIP
For the two of you who were nice enough to read my story Antonovka, thank you so much. Here’s music.
There’s a lot I want to say about it. If you haven’t finished it (or don’t care), don’t click "Read More". Otherwise…
Saying you're going to retire is easy. Actual retirement is hard. There's a lot more to this blog post than just that, but that's basically the gist of it. I felt that I couldn't balance my novel and my FiMFiction life, but some things over the course of the last few months made me realize that I could give it one more run.
I can't seem to update my f**king bio for some reason, so the information in there is not correct, and it has been bugging me for a bit so I decided to make a blog post for that, as well as some news about an upcoming story.
Let's hop to it:
As for the bio - I am still a male (lol), I do live in the United States, but as of about two years ago, I changed my mind about taking the test to become a Marine.
It may be hard man but don't give up
I’ve just been busy working on finishing up my novel which is set to go live later this summer if all goes well.
For those of you interested, have a tiny little sneak peak:
So Authority Cop was disowned by his family for being a brony. I knew anti-bronys were bad but this is fucking ridiculous!
IN WHICH SURPRISE
Thank you for reading this latest entry in Sunset's Recovery Arc. This is a story I've never mentioned before in any previous blogpost, so you might be surprised it's here. Well, so am I. Allow me to explain after the jump.
Hello and thank you for reading this little story. I never expected to write a followup to Lows & Highs, but then a lot of impossible things have happened lately, none of them good. Here are my quick thoughts on RVSS@4.
I released a new story recently for the Most Delightful Ponidox Contest, Time Enough, and here are some of my thoughts on it. This post contains spoilers, so go read the story first. But maybe don't read the comments.
First though, I have to kick the elephant in the room.
Hello and welcome to these extra notes on my latest story, Night Of Faded Sun. As you can imagine, this was an incredibly difficult story to write, and I hope you liked it, or at least didn't hate it. To be honest, I'm scared to have posted it. Follow me, if you'd like, past the jump for more thoughts.
