Just finished the second chapter of my Changing Seasons contest entry. It...kinda went off the rails a bit from what my initial plan for it was, but that's fine. I'm sure the fact that I'm at about 5.6k out of a 10k max word count and only halfway through the story won't be a pain in the butt at all.

I’m hoping to get it all written before the new year, then have a few weeks for editing, then I’m going to release it in a huge block while I start working on the next arc. Welp. Here we are. Nine years and nine seasons later, FiM has finally drawn the curtains. It's over. But I don't think that means we're over. Y'know, as in, "we're gonna keep this party going until the last man finally dies."

Will Gen 5 be as good? Maybe. Will it have as much impact as Friendship is Magic did? Doubt it. They'd need to pull out all the stops to make it as memorable as possible, and coming off FiM's coattails, that's a tall order to fill.

Final count, before editing and counting author's notes: 17585 words, 48 pages.

And it only took me one year, half a million words slash about a thousand pages in scrapped outlines, and most of my remaining sanity!

Hopefully the thing should go live later the coming week, depending on how the editing goes. Been a while, but hopefully they'll all still be available slash still interested.

Sorry for the long wait and delays.

And a special thanks and sorry to my editors for the glacial response times. The chapter wouldn't have been half as good without you guys, and I'm sorry I've been so busy lately.

To say the last couple of months have been busy is an understatement and a half. Between school and work, I've been basically going 16 hours a day every day with very few breaks.
