To be fair, a V. 5.0 would quite possibly have killed the story as a whole becuse I was already getting so frustrated, and Dresden Files tends to have one-two let's-talk-about-how-doomed-we-are chapter/s.
Still, so far it seems mostly well-recived, and that's the important bit.

Well, to be blunt, it hurt quite a bit too admit so to myself, but the first drafts of #8 was on the wrong side of that line.

I don't know if you ever read that message, but I still stand to my opinion that the finished chapter repeats all the mistakes of the old version and then made them worse by stripping out all the action, even the parts that were good about it. I really want to know who even was it who originally made the problems out to be such big deal, it sounded worth delaying the chapter by a year over, but who apparently can't even tell the difference well enough to notice that they never actually got fixed.
It's out! We're finally over the hurdle! Hurray Hurrah Huzzah!
The funny thing is, not being a SEGA kid, I didn't see that Altered Beast intro until after I saw Volgarr the Viking reference it.
