Hey everyone I posted this blog a while back but I feel like re posting it so here it is!
Hey everyone I posted this blog a while back but I feel like re posting it so here it is!
I currently lack faith in the quality of Aim for the Stars, and I'm continuing to bleed followers while it stays published. I'm taking it down to avoid inflicting it on anypony else.
Again, it isn't the rating that's the problem (see Recycled for a story with a bad rating that I remain proud of). The problem is the story itself, and my inability to properly edit it in my current frame of mind.
To my surprise, I actually surpassed the grades required to gain entry, and as such I've managed to firmly secure my preferred university place on a course for BSc Clinical Psychology. All things considered, I'm pretty chuffed.
Grades were as follows:
Law:
Grade from last year - C
Grade predicted - B
Grade attained - C
Psychology:
Grade from last year - B
Grade predicted - A
Grade attained - B
ICT:
Grade from last year - D
Grade predicted - D/C
Grade attained - B
Over at Chris's blog, I've got a review up looking at some of the differences between SS&E's "Couchtavia" and Estee's "100% Move = 50% Fire," and why I felt very differently about two stories that have a lot superficially in common.
Reproduced below:
After several months of job hunting, interviews, thank you letters, follow up calls, and driving from state to state I have finally gotten a job and just finished with my move today. At this moment I am in the middle of unpacking and prepping for my first day at the new job. (Hopefully it won't be my last.)
Okay, so, I'm now an artist with a client! Fiaura has hired me on as one of her artists and I've been really enjoying the projects I'm given so far!
Also, fairly soon before HRPC, I'll be moving again. Unfortunate... EXCEPT I'll be doing nothing but art and writing after the move! I'm building myself up as an independent artist and writer so I can work from home and bring you all as much content as I can handle!
Arc 11 just ended in Songs of the Spheres, and with it almost all secrets and plot twists have been revealed. We have a single arc left, and it will return to a more episodic way of telling stories that we left behind in Arc 10. We'll tie up loose ends, look to the future, and settle down.
And now that all the big stuff is out of the way, it's time... to tell you about how awesome Princess Bubblegum is and how you should all bow to her candy-colored will!
The following post contains NO SPOILERS for any later episodes than the most recent US-RELEASE (s9e20), as I myself have not seen the leak.
What follows is a FAKE screenshot based on one line in s9e20.
(Which is something that these days must be explained in advance. )
My contribution to Famous's contest. Boy, do I love these things, getting out of my comfort zone feels good sometimes.
The cover-art will be replaced by a pixelArt that a friend of mine is making. in the meantime, go there and shed some tears.
Maybe I'll write more fics with Luna in the future, or even with the major... Only time knows, but for now, I will keep making what I like to do most:
If there is anyone following or watching me, you've noticed that, until the wee hours of today, my story, "A Non-Brony's Tale", has been under a semi-hiatus since it was published, mostly because I'm currently dealing with high school and family matters.
Well, look no further, as a new chapter, the first chapter since the story's publishing has been published at last!
Back in early 2017, I made a Gmail account called "SuperMapslover", and I adopted the name everywhere for my online accounts, and "SuperMapslover" is still the name for this account at the moment. Kinda like some sort of consistency thing.
However, I now realize that SuperMapslover is not the best name to name your online accounts and so, I decided to rename my FiMFiction account to something else: Hybrid.
It dawned on me other day, I've lived in another country for half a year now. Not only another country, but a country on the other side of the planet. I'm 7/8 hours ahead of my friends and family back in the UK, I only talk to them through email. My parents I keep in touch with, but my friends have started to drift away from the lack of contact. Of the people I see on the regular here in Shanghai, I have passing conversation with my housemate and my most often seen friend group live in a
I recently found this video,

Dearest Readers / Followers,
Hey guys, Taka here. I'm going to go over everything that's happened rapid-fire, because a lot has happened since I last posted:
Looking at the distribution of the vote among different age groups was very interesting. I think I've come up with a good way to explain what happened.
I'm attempting to mash together VTM type junk and FiM.
Here, have a teaser image.
Oh and also I'm moving soon. Eugh.
So, in typical fashion, I'm late with this. I've been dealing with some family events and preparation leading up to my birthday on January 15th. Also, I've now fallen down the DnD podcast rabbit hole once again and got really into Ken Ashcorp, particularly the song he made for Nyanners. And I've been catching up with an old friend, getting really into witchy business (starting slow, nothing too wild, but I have a pendulum now, she is a black obsidian and her name is Void). Anyway, got another
