Late New Years Blog/Plans and Sidefic Title Sneak Peek

So, in typical fashion, I'm late with this. I've been dealing with some family events and preparation leading up to my birthday on January 15th. Also, I've now fallen down the DnD podcast rabbit hole once again and got really into Ken Ashcorp, particularly the song he made for Nyanners. And I've been catching up with an old friend, getting really into witchy business (starting slow, nothing too wild, but I have a pendulum now, she is a black obsidian and her name is Void). Anyway, got another chapter in the works. Well, chapters now, working on the first chapter of each spinoff for The Pros and Cons of Working Over Time.

Came across a small timeline plot hole which thankfully can be rectified with just a couple changes to a couple sentences in Chapter 8. Pretty much instead of taking a day to think over things, a certain character takes a several days. Not a huge deal and I haven't gotten any feedback pointing it out, so I may be the only one who noticed it, still, it's a plot hole and I'll be damned if I let that stand.

Now, all that said, I'm planning to release these side stories en masse, which means that it may be anywhere from another week to a couple more months before I release all this, so I'll leave you my current plans for names and which pairings they follow. Spoiler warning if you haven't read up to chapter 10 in the main fic yet:

All of these titles are subject to change upon publication.

So, yeah, seven chapters I'm working on right now. I know this all sounds pretty ambitious, especially for someone who is frequently unable to maintain any real posting schedule, but it's all pretty par for the course in my eyes. Writing all these stories more or less simultaneously gives me more to work with, expands my idea of what's happening in the world, and it gives me options and flexibility when I'm not feeling up for writing the main fic. Ultimately, I do plan on tying them all together, so I would encourage reading all of them alongside the main story if you want to understand everything.
