In the aftermath of the Changeling incursion of Canterlot during the marriage of Shining Armour and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, Equestria gears itself for war against the Changeling menace. Against a foe that can take the shape of anypony, assume their life, and undermine Equestria from within, the Royal Pony Sisters create a new institution to monitor their Royal Guard for any Changeling corruption, cowardice, and incompetence: the Commissariat. As total war rages across the land one hero stands out above the rest; Commissar Blueblood, Hero of Equestria. Or at least that's what the propaganda says. The truth, as ever, is far more complex, as the esteemed Blueblood is merely looking for an easy and sedate life. Unfortunately, fate has a habit of throwing him into increasingly dangerous and suicidal missions, which he must survive with a combination of self-preservation, lying, and sheer blind luck, even if doing so only fuels his soaring reputation!

It's amazing how something small and seemingly meaningless can lead to things greater than anypony could imagine. That's what this should have been: Nothing more than a simple explosion and a fire in Ponyville, and the tragic death of miss Amethyst 'Sparkler' Star. Nopony could have guessed that in the aftermath of such a tragedy, an era of Equestria's history long since erased would be revealed.

History is about to be rewritten. And the Fallen Kingdom cometh.

The first part of the Kingdom Come Saga. These are their stories.

Among all the nations on Equis, no nation has enjoyed such a peaceful existence like Equestria. Under the loving care of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, Equestria has outlived many nations. Even when Princess Luna was banished, Equestria continued to exist as a land of peace and harmony.

However, nothing stays the same forever. Sooner or later great changes sweep the land, regardless of the desires or wants of those living there. And while Celestia's rule has ensured that Equestria has remained the same, a great storm of change is approaching. For better or worse, life in Equestria is about to change...

When Celestia leaves for the Griffin Kingdoms on a diplomatic mission, Princess Luna is left in charge. However, when Celestia is captured and held by the Kingdoms' ruler King Aeris and Equestria is invaded, Luna must lead the resistance from the depths of the Everfree Forest in her first real trial since coming home.

When Equestria annexed the Crystal Empire and defeated King Sombra. Not all of it's citizens were comfortable with Princess Cadance and her rule.

Two Brothers, Shattered Dawn and Steel Defiance, must fight their way through a maze of lies, deceit and murder in order to finally liberate their homeland and set an oppressed people free.

In the far future of the equine species, the celestial empire was the most powerful authority to ever hold dominion. stretching across the entirety of the galaxy, the celestial empire was the ultimate symbol to the power of the equine race, a towering monument to show for all time that our race could not be stopped. headed by the royal sisters, the imperial empress's Celestia and Luna, the celestial empire was an unstoppable juggernaut, conquering all who would have stood between the equine race and our rightfully deserved dominion over the galaxy. For a time our race created Elysium, a living utopia amongst the stars. Through love, tolerance, and a hefty application of military power, we had become gods.

But like all empires, we sinned.

Corruption and decadence, hedonism and unbridled ambition. slowly but surely these cancers festered within the heart of our empire, rotting away at the foundations of our species. whole worlds began to sway from the path of empire, their vision of a greater good eclipsed by their own greed and spite.

After ten thousand years of watching her empire become nothing but a malignant, bloated tumour, empress Luna declared herself independent, branching off from the path of the empire to form the new lunar republic. entire sectors of the galaxy followed her, declaring that the empire had become corrupt and that newer, purer leadership was needed to bring us back into the light of righteousness. Filled with uncontrollable fury at her sisters brazen and insubordinate action, Celestia in turn declared that those system still under her control where now part of her new realm, the solar empire, and that she would not rest until she had seen Luna pay for her treason.

All that was a thousand years ago, and we've been at war ever since.

Blaze, a synthetic Alicorn created through genetic manipulation, has fought in the war for two hundred and fifty years. This is his story.

Blaze is searching for someone, someone responsible for the deaths of not just his family, but for the death of his entire world. that someone one is princess Cadence, who sided with Luna at the outbreak of the war. Driven by the ghosts of his past and an all consuming need for redemption, Blaze will not rest until he sees Cadence dead for what she has done. He has been searching for two hundred and fifty years, but finally the chance to earn the redemption he so desperately craves has been found.

Tracking Cadence to the republican civic world of Threnor prime, Blaze wastes no time in beginning his hunt for the Alicorn princess. But when his squad is killed upon planet fall and solar empires invasion begins to falter around him, Blaze will have to pull out all the stops to bring Cadence to justice, or die in the attempt

They say the past will haunt you. What if the past came back just to kill you. Twilight and her friends will have to unlock the secrets of a pegasus that has no memory of anything but his first name.
