Applejack has been thinking about her parents death all her life. But when a picture shows up in the photo album she'll think even deeper. RainbowDash is the element of loyalty she's slightly more loyal than Applejack can Rainbow help her best friend cope with the her parents death or will she change the Applejack we all know and love.

I wrote this to show that AJ is unloved and has a horrible life but for all you AJ fans Im one too. Hope u enjoy.

Rainbow Dash had hoped that when Applejack came home, it would be a warm and happy reunion between the two lovers after AJ returned from the latest Apple Family Reunion. However, Rainbow Dash learns that AJ and her immediate family are no longer Apples. They are now clanless and it's all because of her.

Yet sometimes, true family lies not in blood, but in love.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash went to Twilight Sparkle with a simple question: Could she make a spell that would allow them to have a foal together? After a year of magical research, Twilight thinks that she's done just that. But the spell is not without potential side effects, and AJ and Dash have to decide if they're ready to be part of a magical experiment that could give them a foal of their own, or cost Applejack her life.

"Awkward, but worth it."
This is the phrase Twilight Sparkle used when Rainbow Dash first attempted to work up the courage to confess her love for Applejack. Rainbow quickly realized that she was right--it was awkward, but worth it. What she didn't realize was just how applicable that statement would be throughout all her life. That first conversation. That first kiss. That first night spent together. That time Apple Bloom walked in on them. That first apology after their first argument. The arrival of that acceptance letter. And on so many more occasions.
Throughout it all, Rainbow kept smiling.
It was awkward, yes. At times so much so that she wished she could sink into the ground and disappear forever.
But in the end, every time--every time--it was always so very, very worth it.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack have been together for almost two weeks and the two of them are happy about it but lately Applejack has been up to her chest in work meaning spending time with Rainbow has been the last thing on her mind. Rainbow knows that Applejack takes her work serious but Rainbow needs attention as well. So Rainbow comes up with a way so that her and Applejack can have the weekend together with no interruptions, hopefully.
A small side story that takes place after "Restless Nights".
This story came to life based on a comment from a reader of my previous story "Restless Night". Thank you Canius for this idea.

Applejack has been in a secret relationship with the Pegasus pony Rainbow Dash for a long time now, and this has caused her a lot of trouble keeping it from her friends and family, but when a few comments one hearts and hooves day really dig deep, she decides that it's time to put her hoof down and tell them the truth, no matter how much drama it may cause. But even with the best interests in mind, can she truly foresee all the consequences?
