After getting into an accident, you wound up in a pony hospital where you can spend a few weeks of peace and quiet. Although, what you didn't realize that there would be some "friendly visitors" checking in on you every day before the snowy winter of Hearth's Warming Eve starts.

I did not ask for this. This type of punishment. I did not want to come here, to frighten this alien race that a majority of us humans would consider nothing more than animals of which had their own intelligence that came no where near to true sentience. Yet here I am, in Equestria. About to be judged for something that had merely been received out of hand.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have come to a decision. Stickler will receive justice, and thus so will the ponies. Now all that matters to Stickler is whether Justice will truly be received.

The Cutie Map calls on Twilight and Rarity in order to investigate the town of Hollow Shades, a gloomy village with a fearful populace and an unsettling fixation on dolls. On top of it all, there's a new leader running the show: a mysterious unicorn known as Lady Mari who protects the town in exchange for their servitude.

For some reason Twilight and Rarity can't shake the feeling that they've seen this all before. But that can't be true—this is just another friendship problem, right?

Trixie's life was ruined by the Ursa Minor incident. In canon, she returned to town upon obtaining the Alicorn Amulet.

Here, however, Trixie heard about the Want-It-Need-It mass spell on Ponyville, about some troublemakers using a love poison, and a group of ponies playing as a dress-up hero to show up their friend.
