We are all connected to our roots...

You are the Royal Gardner at Canterlot Castle. The position has been passed down from stallion to colt for generations in your family.

The roses are your pride, because they are what she loves most, and there is one bush in particular that captivates you. When it thrives, she does.

And, try as you might... you cannot help but having fallen in love with her.

Dirt in your hooves and sweat on your muzzle, why would a Princess of Equestria look twice your way?

But hope... hope grows like a weed.

The following story takes place between Chapter 19 and the Epilogue of A Jewel of a Problem
-------------------------------------

Unknown to Twilight, the Royal Council, or really anyone in Equestria, Princess Celestia has been using a powerful tool given to her by a dear friend to chart the path Equestria would take. This magical tool is a seemingly innocent book bearing the mark of the great Starswirl the Bearded, and within its pages is the ever changing tapestry of predictions and prophecies about the future.

It has proven invaluable countless times… but what will the greatest rulers Equestria has ever known do when the book gives one final, haunting prediction?

Daybreak finds her peaceful life of shining and looking upon Equestria from the night sky ruined when a promise from a very long time ago sends her hurdling to the ground. Now she must learn everything she can from Celestia before Celestia has to ascend back to the heavens where she belongs. The worst part is that Daybreak has no interest in ruling, and would much rather go home then stay on a land of mortality for hundreds of thousands of years. Darker in later chapters, I'm putting a tag just in case.
This story is set in a headcan/au where stars are sentiant (clearly). Based loosely on the book "Stardust"

What if only one person were to fill the world? With this story, I fully express the feelings associated with the perfect world and how it all is not as perfect as one would think.

Princess Celestia is falling into a deep, dark depression. All those years of pain and tragedy are finally starting to take their toll on her well-being. Nothing is able to bring her happiness anymore. Not Luna, not Discord, not even the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration. But there is a certain somepony named Twilight Sparkle, who just might be able to save her former instructor from drowning in her own sorrow. The real question is, will she be able to break through to her in time?

It seems like an eternity since I last updated this story. And now that it is summer, I have no excuse. I plan n finishing this story by the time summer is over. No 100% guarantees here, just something to go off of if anyone is still keeping track of this story.
