It was supposed to be boring. The Annual Magic Users Convention is the one event of the year that recognizes all the accomplishments that unicorns, alicorns and other magic users have made. It's usually a night of long-winded speeches, mind-numbing presentations and unappetizing food. But when a certain mailmare finds two tickets to the convention addressed to her house, she decides that it is not only her privilege, but her duty to attend. And after suitably preparing herself for the occasion, she changes what is usually a boring night into one of the wildest and most bizarre experiences in a thousand years.

And yet, here, among the dregs of society, Applejack finds an honest soul to help her rid her home town of a fearsome beast - a grizzled old outlaw, desperate for redemption.

My name is Fancy Pants and you are being watched. The royal sisters have a secret system--a machine that spies on you every hour of every day. I should know because I built it. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror but it sees everything. Violent crimes involving ordinary ponies; crimes that the hierarchy considered irrelevant. They wouldn't act so I decided that I would, but I needed a partner--somepony with the skills to intervine. Hunted by the Manehattan authorities, we work in secret. You will never find us. But victim or perpetrator, if your number's up, we'll find you.

Everyone knows Pinkie Pie throws the best parties. The volume goes up, the drinks go down, and everypony enjoys themselves as they let the fun take over. Even Rarity let's her grace and etiquette slide for a time to party with her friends! But after a few too many the night before, she awakes to find a suitor shares her bed. This guest, however, is far more important than even she had expected.

Another short fic. This was more of a crack pairing at the time of writing! A bit saucy, so read with caution!

By the way, the date this was written was before Season 2 had even truly started. You may have to revert to get into that pre-canon-Luna mindset. XD

In the darkness, some pony farted.

Spike has just woken up from his hundred-year sleep and realized that none of his friends are around anymore. He is deeply stricken with grief. Can a letter from his wife Rarity, gifts from his friends, and a poem from Twilight Sparkle help ease the pain of their loss?

When I was writing this story I didn't mean for it to take the turn that it did, however a personal event that happened in my life made this what it is. I hope those that read it enjoy it.

A terminally ill patient, stuck in a hospital for what little time remains of their life. Days pass by and it is almost as if they can see their time coming to an end. Their life feels meaningless now that they are facing their own mortality. They have all but given up. That is, until a single pony manages to break through to them and give them the one thing they really needs before leaving this world: a true friend.

Local Ponyville folklore says that the mysterious colt that just moved into town hides a mysterious secret. Some say he's a government spy, plotting to take over Equestria. Others think he's just a shy stallion who has trouble talking to others. When Derpy Hooves, the resident mailmare, delivers a letter to the reclusive pony, what she finds is not at all what anypony had expected--least of all herself.

When Applejack and Big Macintosh come across a badly beaten colt on their property, they take him in. But can they handle the physical, mental and emotional scars on the surface and deep in their guest's soul. And why is he insist they are in danger?

Rated TEEN mainly for events later in the story. Characters will be added as the story unfolds.
