After a lot of procrastinating and planning, Twilight Sparkle ends up asking out Rainbow Dash.

My first TwiDash fic!

An unusual storm falls upon Ponyville, leading to widespread destruction. Rainbow Dash is badly injured while fighting the storm and Twilight must take care of her until the storm ends. Twidash.

This is an entry for twilight-the-pony's "After The Storm" Twidash writing competition.

Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle have been together for as long as anypony can remember, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Rainbow Dash finally builds up enough courage to talk to Twilight Sparkle about her true feelings for the purple Unicorn, and inadvertently uses the most romantic song of our (or possibly last) generation.

(And yes, I crossed it over with a song, just in case you were wondering.)

Rainbow Dash shows a surprising amount of manipulation to get Twilight out for a romantic night. Rarity might have helped a little.

Skittles are Equestria's latest trend, but when Rainbow tells Twilight that she doesn't like them, the studious unicorn comes up with a rather bizarre theory: maybe Rainbow tastes like Skittles herself, and is therefore immune to the taste. But are they ready to find out if her theory is correct?

Twilight has little experience in the world of dating, and decides to ask Rainbow Dash for help on the matter. Rainbow's "practice date" seems like a good idea: two good friends, one helping the other out in their quest for love. As friends. Just friends. Nothing more. Right?
