Julia has been hunted since birth. Before her very existence she had become a legend - The Maverick - the one to save Equestria from destruction. She carries this title as a burden. Ponyville has become her escape to live a normal life. Still, her past continues to haunt her and finally catches up - threatening Ponyville and its residents. With a new persona and new-found friends including Rainbow Dash, Julia faces her demons and turns them against themselves as The Mysterious Mare Do Well.

In order to improve her friendship with Discord, Twilight Sparkle joins Fluttershy on a visit to see the old draconequus. However, the Lord of Chaos sees this as the perfect opportunity for some fun, chaos, mischief and more. What follows is a walk down the long way to reach Discord's house, through the twisted dimension that he calls home.

So hold on to your stuff, take a deep breath, and try to keep an open mind on the way down.

Twilight and Discord are a long way from home, and have to journey through a realm of madness and chaos to get back to Equestria. Fortunately, this is Discord's speciality, so Twilight is in safe hands. Less fortunately, all the local gods want him dead.

Except that they're not plotting the theft, or destruction, of the Elements.

They're plotting a succession - a succession of power UNTO the Bearers of the Elements. Powers the likes of which ponykind has never witnessed - and power which may upset the balance of magic in Equestria forever...

Book One of Three of the Codex: Equestria, and the first part of an epic trilogy that will shake the very foundations of Equestria as we know it.

After successfully helping bring water up to Cloudsdale, Fluttershy becomes wrapped up in a new hobby: High-Speed Pegasus Racing. Winning numerious races alongside her team, her alias becomes the most recognizable name throughout Equestria, especially among other pegasi.

The earth spun through space. Basking in the light of the sun on one side, and of the moon on the other. The eternal dance playing out as it had for untold years. The sun roaring and bright, the moon cold and aloof, while the earth sat in between, bustling with life and growth. Below on the expansive surface of the world, in a country, in a village, in a house by the forest a yellow pegasus walked out the door to check on her animals. She was not particularly brash, nor brave, or all that strong of will. And the day was not of particular importance. Still, on that unimportant day, the unassuming pony would uncover a long held secret.

Luna Walker has invoked Protocol E: Six of the most dangerous criminals in Equestria have been hired to apprehend the Trixie Lulamoon, aka The Puzzler, who is under lock and key in Aurora Asylum. Since Rainbow Dash has taken up the mantle of Mare-Do-Well, she has faced some of the most dangerous criminals that Equestria has ever encountered; From the deadly terrorist Razorbeak to notorious crime lord Big Shot and the psychotic Shadowbolt, but now she is in for the toughest fight of her life when Twilight test drives a new and unpredictable spell and accidentally sends Rainbow into a what can only be described as a mirror world where Celestia and Luna are missing, the elements are held captive, the cities run amok with criminals... and she is dead. Now as she deals with these villains and starts to see that even she has limitations there is also the matter of dealing with 'The Nefarious Negamare'; a sinister and mysterious dark reflection of Mare Do Well herself who holds this broken world in a reign of terror!

Set in Shadejak's Mare Do Well universe. This story throws Rainbow into the toughest challenge yet as the appearance of Negamare makes her question what she fights for but all is not as it seems.

Dash's friends admitted to their parts in their trick, but one event is left unaccounted for. Who was it who saved the mare in the balloon. Did the 5 really invent Mare Do Well themselves or did they merely borrow the mantel in their attempts to teach Dash a lesson. This is the story of the young mare who became an unknowing pawn in their plan and her continued adventures as The Mysterious Mare Do Well.

This is my first fanfic ever, It was based on the idea i had when watching the Mare Do Well episode and wanting it to be a real hero rather then what we got, so when they failed to mention the first event, the idea of them impersonating the real Mare Do Well grew.
