Sequel to Scootaloo's Painful Secret Now that Scootaloo is away from her abusive parents and in the custody of Rainbow Dash, she can focus on recovering from the trauma she was put through and getting on with her life. Delighted on getting to live with her hero, will she have the courage to work through her pain? Will Rainbow Dash be able to help her through this difficult time and get used to being a parental figure to Scootaloo?

Scootaloo has always been jealous of the relationship that Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom have with their older sisters. She sees how they share a special bond that goes beyond friendship. Yearning for that same bond for herself, Scootaloo decides to ask her idol, Rainbow Dash, to join her in the largest celebration of sisterhood in Ponyville, the Sisterhooves Social. Rainbow Dash accepts, but she later receives an invitation from the Wonderbolts to train with them on the same weekend as the Sisterhooves Social! With help from Twilight Sparkle, Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash learn that the magic of sisterhood isn't always easy.

It doesn't take an extraordinary pony to be a hero, they only need to be extraordinary to somepony.

Rainbow Dash learns a valuable lesson about what it means to idolize ponies, and an even more important lesson about what it means to earn it.

After giving it a lot of thought and gathering some information, Rainbow Dash decides to become Scootaloo's sole guardian. However, Scootaloo's mom is still around, so Rainbow Dash has to get her to give up custody of the adorable little squirt. Luckily, Rainbow Dash has the perfect plan for that.
