Derpy Hooves has never seen the Detective in action even if he's her special somepony. She's read the newspapers and heard the wild rumors of the great Detective cracking cases wide open when no evidence, or clues could be found. However when a Wonderbolts show goes array with a freak flying accident, the Detective is inclined to believe it was more than just a accident.

It's opening night for Ink Well's musical and he's not sure what to make of all of the attention. Between the gifts and the pampering of the producer, the easygoing pegasus simply doesn't know how to handle all of the attention. But when a mysterious pony saves him from assassination, he finds space is far larger than he ever could have expected, and that time has a nasty way of playing tricks on you. This is a sequel to Newsworthy.

This is about my favourite shipped couple Derpy and Doctor Whooves, who are yet to discover each other and their unique bond in the world of Equestria and beyond to other planets. Derpy discovers some muffins, but what could be so special about those muffins? What secret do they hold?What does the doctor know that Derpy doesn't know? Could Derpy part with these muffins if she had to? This is about how Derpy becomes the doctors companion, perhaps more, and the adventures they share together. Beginning their adventures in Canterlot, but who knows where else they will end up? Enjoy :)

This Fic's length is a bit intimidating, but it is broken into four parts, each of which could be considered their own stories with clear beginnings and conclusions. I decided to keep it all together because it was how my outline was structured (aka i completely underestimated the length).

This is not a Gurren Lagann Crossover. The title was a coincidence. (But said coincidence has led to many references and characters that parody the anime)
