Celestia has become emotionally withdrawn and disconnected from her little ponies. The imprisonment of Luna compounded with the constant loss of any who got close to her, she has forgotten how to connect with another pony. Until a small, injured filly who is equally distant after the loss of her parents stumbles into Celestia's life. Now, both ponies will help the other heal and rediscover once more what it truly means to be a pony.

A 'Mommylestia' story, the concept of which has been in my head for some months. I will be sticking rather close to canon for events, the major differences are that Twilight's parents are dead, and Shining Armor is a few years older and already dating Cadance at the time of this incident. I plan to keep mostly everything else the same.

It has been a couple of months since Luna's first Nightmare night since she had returned. Now, Hearth's Warming Eve is upon Equestria. Luna, despite feeling much more welcomed into this new era since that Nightmare night, her mind still wanders. Even dipping into slight loneliness. But her mind soon clears as she comes up with an idea to once again meet the pony who was able to clear her thoughts of loneliness.

Deciding that Fluttershy did such a great job with Discord, Celestia sends King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Gilda to Ponyville to be cured of their villainous ways. All of this as Ponyville runs to win 'nicest village of the year' award for the thirteenth time running, while trying not to win the 'most disaster prone village of the year' award. Discord couldn't be more amused.

It's a hectic time for the mane six and a terrible time to be the mayor of Ponyville.

Luna has been plagued with vivid dreams of Nightmare Moon, and from what she's encountered, she doesn't know who to believe anymore. Is this the same evil mare she had become? Or just a misunderstood pony looking for love? Now Luna must decide: friend or foe?

It's been 500 years since Celestia had to banish Nightmare Moon, with Luna, in the moon. One day, she is given a special stone as a gift that can grant one wish. Celestia wishes to have the Luna she knows and loves with her again and her wish is granted. The sisters are together again and couldn't be happier. Until they find out that Nightmare Moon is still trapped in the moon and will still return someday. Now Celestia and Luna must work together to put the very embodiment of their mistakes to rest once and for all. So Celestia starts making plans for the future. And to protect her reputation, Luna hides her true identity and pretends to be Celestia's cousin in the meantime. The two of them will learn more about each other and grow closer as sisters over the next 500 years.

Rarity is married to Spike and eight months pregnant with their baby girl. And while she wouldn't have her life any other way, she was seriously contemplating murdering him!
