There's been a rumour floating around the school for a while. A colt has a crush on Sweetie Belle. Naturally, she's psyched for it. The possibility of a coltfriend? How can this possibly be bad?

As it turns out, the colt in question is Snails, and he's not exactly the most likable colt around. He's not what Sweetie Belle was expecting either, nor is he her type. Not by a long shot. But because of Apple Bloom's and Scootaloo's tiredness with her bragging about the mysterious colt, she winds up going on a date with him without a choice in the matter.

Well, this probably can't end well. Or can it? Nope. Probably won't.

Snails has heard a new word and has decided to figure out its meaning. Who knows what sort of wacky hijinx he'll get into this time?

Once again, we have a story written to satisfy a challenge from a friend. This time the challenge was a little odd and had three parts:
1) It had to include the word "marehood" multiple times.
2) The word "marehood," had to have no concrete meaning.
3) It had to include Snails.

Standard rules applied. Written in one hour, no going back and re-reading/editing.

After Diamond Tiara loses a bet to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, she has to ask Snails to the Hearts and Hooves Day Dance. But when Snails turns to Sweetie Belle for help in impressing his date, she realizes she is starting to develop feelings for him. And so what was to have been a simple victory for the CMC turns into something a bit more complicated.

Diamond Tiara, in the spirit of the holiday, decides to spread a little love on Hearts and Hooves Day. She goes about this by writing and delivering a letter to Snails that is meant to look like a confession of Apple Bloom's secret (nonexistent) crush on him. She reasons that Snails will feel inclined to respond to the letter through an expression of his own "love", embarrassing both himself and Apple Bloom. And that's exactly what happens.

It's Hearts and Hooves day at Ponyville. Snails didn't get any cards for some reason. Scootaloo feels sorry for him and she gave him one of hers. Sending him a wrong message towards him.

Applebloom asks Snails for a date. However, the colt has no idea of how to act or anything relating to dating. It looks like it's up to Snips and Spike to give advice to Snails before the date.

When Raindrops takes Snails to Canterlot, her only thought is having a fun day with her little brother. Unfortunately, with the arrival of a mysterious force that seems to be abducting ponies out of their homes, the capital of Equestria has become a dangerous place. Cut off from support and unable to return to Ponyville, Raindrops must work with Cheerilee, Carrot Top, a government official, and one of her most hated enemies in order to protect her brother, stop the disappearances and keep the city safe. But they'll have to move fast, because the number of vanished ponies is steadily increasing... and it could soon include the Ponyville visitors as well. Lunaverse story.

To say that Snails has always been a little different from most ponies would certainly not come as a surprise to most. But is it what's on the outside that marks him as different, or what goes on on the inside?

Cheerilee has to watch children all day. Sometimes it's boring, sometimes it's interesting, and sometimes she learns something new. Today is a little bit of all three, because although she's seen the same story play out many times, it's always interesting, and when it comes to colts and fillies, there's always more to learn about just how frivolous their social lives can be.

It has been ten years since Tirek was defeated, and now the Cutie Mark Crusaders are all grown up. Sweetie Belle has a foal named Emerald. Apple Bloom is engaged. And at the same time, Scootaloo is waiting for her response from the Wonderbolt Academy. Want to know more? Stay tuned!
