To put it simply, I just didn't like it. A common theme that I tend to have with my stories is that I start off really well, and then kinda fall apart as I go on. I don't think the second chapter really fit well with the first, which is a shame really. I really want to do this story to the full extent that I wanted to, because the third chapter was meant to have the most impact on the reader.
Without spoiling too much, it had to do with Snail's relationship with his father.
I might go back and rewrite the chapter to be more polished and enjoyable, but I just have so many different story ideas that I want to start (and just as many that I still need to FINISH) that it might be a while. I'm sorry to anyone who really did enjoy the chapter and was hoping for a climax soon.
