Cheerilee has to watch children all day. Sometimes it's boring, sometimes it's interesting, and sometimes she learns something new. Today is a little bit of all three, because although she's seen the same story play out many times, it's always interesting, and when it comes to colts and fillies, there's always more to learn about just how frivolous their social lives can be.

Diamond Tiara, in the spirit of the holiday, decides to spread a little love on Hearts and Hooves Day. She goes about this by writing and delivering a letter to Snails that is meant to look like a confession of Apple Bloom's secret (nonexistent) crush on him. She reasons that Snails will feel inclined to respond to the letter through an expression of his own "love", embarrassing both himself and Apple Bloom. And that's exactly what happens.

Some think that love is complicated.

Others fall in and out of it with ease.

Snails does a lot of falling, and he’s far from complicated.

Apple Bloom learns that complicated things are easy to fall for.

A commission for: Piquo Pie, who, for the record, is planning a number of commissions over the coming months!

PS: I know it sounds like I'm doing another Caramel Rainbows but this story I'm going to focus more on the struggles of a pregnancy. You know, fatigue, strange cravings, limitations, mood swings, strange in-laws and fear of miscarriage and birth defects. That kind of stuff.
