It's been a few months since the death of Twilight Velvet. Rainbow now has to deal with the Orphanage of Ponyville approaching bankruptcy. She has to host a fundraiser for it but what will it be?

WARNING: Not much plot development because I s*ck at sequals and I was focused more on the 'friends find out Rainbow is a musician' case. I might add side stories for the sake of this NOT going belly up on me.

After her friends come to her aid, Rarity settles in for the night over at Sweet Apple Acres. Unable to find sleep, she sits up with Applejack and the two friends weather a hellish storm through their shared talent: Song.

One day, Scootaloo asks Rainbow Dash where she got an ultra-rare autographed Wonderbolt Captain Nighthawk uniform. So, Rainbow sits Scootaloo down and tells her the story which also coincides with the birth of her legendary confidence and one of the saddest days of her entire life.

Discord never did strike Applejack as somebody she could trust. Heck, when he was evil, she at least had an idea of what to do about it. Now, he seems more or less a nuisance than anything else.

AJ takes pride in her work. No pony can question that. But Discord believes that's just because she's never had the power to do anything differently. So he makes an offer. He'll loan a copy of his powers at no charge. How long will she be able to resist the easy road when it also seems right?
