On one particularly rainy day, Discord meets a friendly clown inside the gutter.

How could Discord possibly say no to free candy and balloons?

The Great and Powerful Trixie is appalled upon watching the new episode. While many of her friends (and others that she feels are less important than her) got plenty of screen time in the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic intro, all she got were a few blurry frames. What's worse, that shot of her was edited in; she wasn't invited to the filming sessions, or even the group photo at the end! Demanding answers, Trixie goes to Twilight Sparkle.

Celestia brought the storm to heal the land.

Daybreaker came too.

Sometimes, after ending up adrift in the multiverse, one has no clear way to return to, or even find, one's own universe. It happens to the best of us. In fact, it happens to all of us sooner or later.

Upon finding herself in that very situation, Sunset Shimmer is interviewed by an inhabitant of the universe she landed in. She's been told that, if she just answers a series of questions, her hosts will be able to locate her home timeline, and return her to the human realm within it.

She has serious doubts, but she doesn't actually have a more promising approach to solving the problem.

After the events of Rainbow Rocks, Sunset Shimmer sits on a park bench, wallowing about her homesickness and how she is afraid to return to Equestria and confront her past. However, her self-pity is soon disrupted as Trixie comes along, wishing to learn real magic. In the process, the two make up over their confrontation during the Battle of the Bands.

Sunset Shimmer finds herself all alone in the expansive heavens of the afterlife.

When confronted by Sunset, Wallflower Blush realizes that absolutely nothing she does matters. Rather than lash out at Sunset's friends, she turns the Memory Stone on herself and completely erases her own mind.

Unable to handle her anxiety without the memory stone, Wallflower Blush tries to end her life. The attempt leaves her too injured to recover, and with just hours left to live, she expects to die all alone—until Sunset Shimmer appears, asking, “Why?”
