This story is a sequel to My Little Arkham

Anarchy takes Gotham City when the supposedly dead Scarecrow returns with a new concoction of fear. Abandoned by the general populace, the metropolis now rests in the hands of the criminals, who now run rampant after nine months of dormancy.

Three years have past in peaceful Equestria, and all seems well. When news of this terrible occurrence reaches Twilight Sparkle and her friends, they hold true to an old friend.

Will Scarecrow’s oppression prevail over Gotham’s otherworldly allies?

Author's Note (IMPORTANT): This will be a sequel to ADHD365's My Little Arkham and it will be a crossover of both Batman and My Little Pony: FIM, it will take place during the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. The timeline will be set between MLP seasons 6 and 7, meaning that every episode in season 7 has not happened yet at this point. It will be set a month after the events of "To Where and Back again" the season 6 finale of MLP. Just like the prequel; this story will focus more with the ponies' POV rather than Batman's. The reason I'm writing a sequel to someone else's story is because I liked that story very much; but I was a little disappointed when I learned that the Author (ADHD365) of My Little Arkham recently announced that he will not be doing any sequels or side stories of this great crossover. I loved this story to the point that I was motivated enough to do it myself. You can review, fav this you if are enjoying this story, you are also free to criticize this story if you'd like for any flaws I have made with story. Enjoy and have a nice day, ladies and gentlemen.

Something strange is happening in Twilight's palace. The magic mirror has started acting strangely during a period of intense solar flares, leaving her worried about what complications might occur. The next thing she knows, through a sequence of events she didn't have the chance to analyze, the mirror inexplicably transports her, her friends, and Spike, to a mysterious, and dangerous world completely unfamiliar to her, where the only way to seemingly get back home is to go with a band of strange beings, on a quest to destroy a powerful ring in a far off land...

Isolated from her friends and taken prisoner in the middle of a war, Twilight must deal with the very real dangers of being percieved as an enemy as well as the nightmares of her arrival on 'Earth'. Can she overcome her own fears and the fears of her captors? Will the wayward unicorn's assistance be a boon or a curse to the 'humans?' Most importantly, will she ever find her way home?

"In short, it's a story of friendship and plasma rifles, with the emphasis on the friendship. The characters are well written, the XCOM setting is fleshed out very well, and the story is compelling. If you love XCOM, you'll love the story, but even if you've never heard of it, it's more than worth giving the first 3 chapters a read.

There's excellent action later on, but the real strength lies in the collision between the friendly and naive world of Twilight Sparkle and the desperate world of humans fighting a losing war for survival and willing to do anything to turn the tide."

The Elements of Harmony, rather than destroying Nightmare Moon, separated Princess Luna from her evil side. Free from her 'weaker' half, Nightmare Moon sets her sights on a world ravaged by bigotry and war to establish a kingdom of her own-Earth, but not the Earth that we know.

A crossover between My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Code Geass.

Equestria, a land of peace and prosperity, ruled by the wise Princess Celestia and Luna. Or, that's what it use to be. Now its hardly peaceful, and its hardly prosperous. Well, unless you have a horn or live on the top; or in some cases the clouds.

And as for Celestia and Luna? Well no one knows where they went. They weren't dead, the sun and the moon still rose and set, but they certainly weren't around to lead. So who was in charge? Why Blueblood of course, and his council of friends. So no worries.

And as for peace, well, we won't get into all the politics. Lets just say that, ambitions and insults go a long way towards peace and war. Especially when one doesn't need to worry anymore about keeping the sun and moon on their daily schedule; or the magical cure all known as the Elements of Harmony.

Yes Equestria was in a sorry state, or better off depending on who you asked. It needed a hero, or maybe....

...maybe it needs.....an Overlord.

The Mane Six disappear from Equestria without a trace in the process of successfully saving Ponyville from a magical storm. They are presumed deceased after some time passes, and the Elements return to the Tree of Harmony.

They wake up, not as the ponies they were, in another world.

A world known as Azeroth.

Faced with a new set of challenges, can they hold onto the values they embody and the code they lived by, or will they be forced to adapt to the ways of this strange new world? A world of bloodshed and hate, of light and dark, of alien races, of undead and demons. A World of Warcraft.

(Historical note)
On recent events:

I've found the recent reports of harassment and workplace issues at Activision-Blizzard to be extremely troubling. They also come at a time when I've been playing much less of the game as it is, as a result of disengagement and disillusionment with various aspects of WoW's current gameplay and storytelling.

For these reasons, in addition to my own failure to upload regularly, I've contemplated putting Azeroth's Skies on hiatus again... or just cancelling it entirely.

However... while I may not be playing WoW at the moment, and may never do so again, I feel like fan work is something we could do with more of right now. I also don't feel like I'm finished in this world just yet. So for now, I'm going to do my best to continue the story.

I hope this makes sense, but I understand if anyone else feels differently as a result of what has happened. Thank you all for your support for this story so far.

Author's Notes:

- On the MLP side of things, this is set before Season 4 kicks off, albeit with minor references to elements from the season opener.
- On the Warcraft side, this is set shortly after the formation of the Shattered Sun Offensive, but I will be taking liberties with certain events that were placed somewhat loosely into the timeline.

Inspired by Rebirth of the Damned, by Borsuq. If somehow you've seen this and missed his excellent story, go check it out!

Now with some awesome cover art, which I commissioned from Mario Teodosio!

Ever since she's made the trip to an alternate Equestria multiple times, twilight has begun to think heavily about the portal. Is it just a connection between the two dimensions or are there more connection to more worlds that can be made. After a long time of theorizing and discussing it with Sunset Shimmer she decided to set up an experiment to test her hypothesis. In the presence of her friends, her brother, Discord, and fellow princesses she begins the experiment which in the end has dazzling and explosive results. In the aftermath they discover that beings have made their way through the portal and that they are just a bit different from the norm that they know. They're a bit more defensive, more fight-y, more...quirky? With the portal being in need of repair they can't immediately send them back and so hopefully the new arrivals will be able to wait patiently while it's being fixed. And maybe in that time they can show Equestria just exactly who they are and what they stand for while they watch over and protect creatures of a world not their own from a dangerous force using something they might recognize

The ponies within Ponyville had enough trouble with the horrid onslaught of vines infecting, and spreading all over the place. What if, thanks to some off-screen shenanigans by a particular Draconequus, the vines didn't just spread to Ponyville, but also to the grand fountain of Rose Quartz! And what a time for that: the grand gems themselves need it the most. Just how much trouble will both worlds end up in, especially when one world is connected to another thanks to a force beyond them both? Will there be friends, foes, or both? Let's see where this ride will go. Many songs, adventure, and silliness to come!

Ponies and Gems unite!

Edit: story featured on—ah, who even cares? I mean, why even bother noting the date? What am I gonna do? Look back fondly on the exact date that my story got put in the featured box? I mean, honestly, I'm pretty sure I just lost a whole bunch of views just for having the word 'featured' in my story's summary.
