Aryanne, Ponyville's resident Nazi sympathizer, unicorn supremacist, and self-hating earth pony, gets asked to be the substitute teacher for Ms. Cheerilee's class when the latter pony falls ill one morning. During a lecture about the finer points of eugenics, Ayranne discovers that the ponies of Ponyville aren't quite as excited about the Final Solution as she is.

Things happen. Nothing happens in between these things. If they did, they'd simply be things with more nothing between 'em. So how do you measure the nothing? Two ponies, equally flawed, intend to find out together... no matter how far it takes them.

This is the story that won first place in /fic/'s eighteenth write-off competition. The original story--here, split into three chapters--was written and edited over a period of just seventy two hours. I intend to add additional chapters whenever the fit comes upon me. Jack Andrews is a student training to be a Catholic missionary in Equestria. Lyra Heartstrings is a starving artist trying to make it in Canterlot's music scene. With Lyra's help, Jack is going to introduce the ponies to the joys of Christmas.

Several weeks after recovering her crown from Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle discovers she can communicate with her counterpart from the other world, who has finally arrived at Canterlot High. When Celestia theorizes that the portal can be re-opened, Twilight and her friends--as well as the OTHER Twilight and HER friends--decide to trade places, so they can learn more about each others' worlds. The only catch: neither party can return to their own world for a full thirty moons...
