I want to like this story. I really, really do. Sadly, I cannot.
This is kind of (partially (mostly because)) I've looked at the treatment of the Jews in WW2 recently, and my mind simply won't let me like something so easily linked to inhumane, monstrous acts.
The fic itself is pretty good. What it's connected to keeps it from being great.
It was a bit too expository in spots, and sometimes it just felt a bit awkward rather than funny awkward, like the story didn't flow together quite right. Rainbow Dash didn't really feel like she contributed a whole lot to the story, and the whole thing with her just felt a bit awkwardly interposed for the sake of infodumping.
A cute enough premise, but I can't escape the feeling that it was sitting in the uncomfortable Batman and Robin zone: terrible, but not quite terrible enough.

Normally, I avoid this kind of stuff like the plague, but it was featured so I figured I'd give it a try; and I loved it! I'd easily read more about her adventures in Ponyville; maybe something like The Witching Hour, now that's a good story. And I have to say this, so THE MAGIC OF FRIENDSHIP PREVAILS AGAIN!

To consider the Nazi campaign of genocide against the Jews, Slavs, and other 'undesirables' is fairly common, especially compared to the atrocities of the United States of America(cough, Indian 'removal', African slave trade, cough).
Business as usual. Genocide is a relatively common occurrence in History; right down to the Roman destruction of Carthage. I am fairly sure that there are genocides pre-dating this event, as well. The Assyrian Empire comes to mind, particularly.
As a die-hard Left-Wing Anti-Fascist, I simply cannot turn a blind eye to the arch-nemesis of my political ideology. It's deeply personal to me for this reason. I can't ignore that at all. Aryanne embodies everything I rebel against.

I submit, that was hilarious. Well, in that case, I suppose I can't blame anyone or anything than my personal taste for not liking this fiction. All's well that Maxwell, I suppose.

I want to up‐vote, I really do, but I cannot do so in good conscience nor can I even simply abstain from voting, I have to give this the downvote it deserves. I came expecting some crosses‐the‐line twice humour and got this patently unfunny schlock instead. Aryanne as written isn’t even a one dimensional caricature — she’s far too bland to reach those lofty heights.
Additionally, the plot itself makes no sense:
• Why does she immediately try kill the
Jewsmud‐ponies despite a complete lack of public support? She was attempting to indoctrinate the youth — she clearly recognised that she lacked the public support necessary to implement the Final Solution — yet right after all but one of the foals (none of whom have any say in policy whatsoever anyway) refuses to buy into her bullshit she leaps upon the opportunity Twilight gave her to kill theJewsmud‐ponies. Despite no appreciable increase in public support.• Why doesn’t Aryanne question why Twilight, who repudiates Aryanne’s beliefs and tries to convince her that she’s wrong, gave Aryanne “poison” out of the blue?
• Why would anybody accept free lemonade from someone who openly advocates for their genocide? If you’re going to say “they didn’t know about that” then explain to me how is it that her beliefs are not public knowledge? I’m incredulous that none of the foals told even one adult about Aryanne’s Final Solution, but even if I were to give you that… trying to indoctrinate foals during school hours and telling Twilight — y’know, the pony with two
Jewishmud‐pony (and a pair of pegasi) friends — that you want to kill all non‐Unicorns aren’t the actions of someone trying to conceal their beliefs.
