This story is a sequel to Awakening

This is the long dark night of the soul. More than 10,000 years have passed since Celestia’s reign over Equestria ended and the entire continent sank into the ocean and faded into myth and legend. Although the pony tribes have colonized the stars, the earth ponies have lost their connection to the land, the unicorns no longer think magic even exists, and the pegasus tribe has forgotten how to fly.
Although the principles of magic and friendship and Harmony are under constant assault in this age of war and strife, a pegasus named Thunder Gale has travelled to the ends of the galaxy in search of a long, lost friend of his. His search has led him to a planet where the old ways have not been entirely forgotten and evils left dormant since Celestia’s time stir once again. In order to survive the night, he’ll have to seek out guidance in the last place he ever thought of looking: the wings on his back.
Not a crossover nor an alternate universe, this is the far future and all this has happened before, and will happen again.

It's been a week since the Royal Wedding, and Twilight and her friends are back in Ponyville, safe and sound. However, ever since they returned from Canterlot, all of Twilight's friends have gone through large bouts of guilt over ignoring her warnings. But of all her friends, Twilight is most concerned about Spike, who keeps waking up in the middle of the night with severe panic attacks.

Despite all her best efforts, Twilight hasn't been able to get her assistant to talk about his dreams, or make him feel better about himself since that day. But after another restless night, Twilight has had enough, and refuses to let him go until he talks about his dream.

However, when Spike finally confesses his recurring nightmare, he talks about what could've happened if Twilight never saved the wedding. And what she discovers, is much worse than she could've ever imagined.

Looking back, she witnesses the entirety of her world in the window. A single dewdrop of oceans and forests and mountains and storms, just floating there, hushed and still. She squints through an eye, placing her hoof upon the glass. It completely covers the receding planet.

And in that instant, she's alone.

Until Elusive offers to spruce her up, showing her that even though she's a dragon, she can still be beautiful inside and out.

Black Wing was one of the elite. A member of the highest order within the Equestrian Military but when Luna fell so did he and many of the members of the Night Legion. Now he has returned to a changed Equestria.

This story will be undergoing a rewrite in the near future. It's highly likely characters will be ret-conned, or back stories will be changed.

This Story is a supplement to Legend of the Arachnapony and follows the journey of Black Wing (or Sammael as he's called in LotAP)

Bulk Biceps and Fluttershy are partners in the Ponyville relay team, good friends, and two ponies many consider total opposites. One is an animal caretaker, symbolizing kindness though she cowers at any sign of trouble. The other spends time lifting weights, speaks boldly and brazenly, and struggles to fly with tiny wings that barely support him.
Though they might be different, that won't keep them from having feelings for each other.
Bear witness to their story, as their friendship blooms into romance in a tale of compassion, love, and generally acting shy.

Remember the time Ponyville was invaded by Parasprites? Or the time Cerberus, the demonic three-headed dog guardian of Tartarus, Equestria's underworld, wandered away and ended up in Ponyville?

What I'm trying to say is, it's an odd sort of town. Anything can happen.

This is the story of how a million star spiders came to live with Twilight Sparkle. It wasn't even the weirdest thing to happen to her that month.

Ponyville, man. Crazy place.

Twilight has been crowned princess and Spike dreads what will happen next. Does Twilight need him anymore? Will he soon be replaced? Is he worthy enough to serve a princess? Fearing the unknown future, Spike begins to despair. Will he end up all alone or will somepony be able to reassure him of what he means to her and the crucial part he is to her life?
