Originally written for the Quills and Sofa's Oct 11 Panic, where I completely deviated from the prompt in order to write something cozy.

On the day of the Summer Sun Celebration, Nightmare Moon returned from her banishment. The power she had accumulated during her stay on the moon proved to be too great for Princess Celestia, and Equestria's ruler was defeated.

Weeks later, Anon arrived in Equestria via unknown means. Although lost and confused, his natural resistance to magic made him quite useful to Nightmare Moon. To his surprise, he quickly became one of her most trusted servants and found himself falling in love with her. Even more surprisingly, it seemed like she was doing the same.

Eventually, despite Anon's best efforts, Nightmare Moon was defeated and Princess Luna returned. Everyone was rejoicing. Everyone... except him. Because Anon did not fall in love with Princess Luna.

Anon fell in love with Nightmare Moon.

Nightmare Moon comes back to Equestria after 1,000 years, just to be imprisoned again under the pretext of “Tax Evasion.”

I just wanna know, HOW do you pay taxes on the moon????

While traveling through the magic mirror between worlds, Sunset Shimmer touched upon the realm of Chaos, her course diverted. Rescued by unknown forces, Sunset awoke on a world besieged by daemonic incursions. While running from a daemon, Sunset comes across a dying member of the Order of the Cerulean Chalice, an Ordo Minorus of the Adepta Sororitas. Entrusted with a holy relic, Sunset is given the choice of taking it to the other members of the order, or dying on the doomed planet.

Suspicions surround Sunset on reaching the order, many questioning her nature and whether or not she was sent by their God-Emperor. Some loath her, seeing her as a xenos at worst, or a tainted mutant experiment of the planet's deceased lord at best. Others believe her sent by a Saint, or claim she is merely some form of abhuman. But none of them fully trust Sunset.

To prove herself, Sunset is placed among the scholla within the convent, all while coping with the loss of her magic, and in a new body. There she'll make friends and rivals, and either prove her worth to the Emperor, or die.

Burn the Heretic. Kill the Mutant. Purge the Unclean.

After an unknown incident leaves Princess Celestia unsure if her precious pupil is alive, dead, or something in-between, the future of Equestria seems uncertain. With the elements compromised, the crown thrown into disarray, and Celestia herself flagging under the weight of her fear and grief, the solar diarch resorts to extra-dimensional assistance to unravel this mystery...

Now, Celestia, who has been feeling self-conscious about not being able to relate to you, wants you to teach her about the hobby. You're more than willing to do so, and you're a very patient man.
