Centuries ago, the Crystal Empire fell to the evil of King Mi Eterna Sombra. Wounded by the unicorn's dark magic and corrupt heart, the Empire retreated into the ether and took its citizens with it. Many ponies at that time believed the Empire would never be seen again.

Now, in AD 1358, the Second Diarchy, the Empire has returned. With a reluctant princess and a vengeful moon-goddess in tow, can Twilight Sparkle and her friends (both pony, human, and other) succeed in saving it and restoring the Empire to its former glory? What secrets lay in the shining city of Adamanetia?

After eating an incredibly spicy burrito, Rainbow Dash discovers some blood on the toilet paper the next morning. Dash panics and rushes to Twilight, who then accompanies her to the doctor.

Unfortunately, her issue is beyond Doctor Stable's expertise. He refers Dash to Doctor A. Scope, a proctologist, for a more thorough examination.

Twilight Sparkle has been serving her country as the Princess of Friendship for over two years, and she thinks that it's finally time for her to take the next step in her royal career: she wants a fancy enchanted mane, just like Celestia and Luna. Luckily for her, the process behind it is pretty simple—all she has to do is go petition the legendary Author of All Beings. You know, the one that lives near the supermarket. Surely she'll be willing to grant Twilight her new magical princess mane!

Unfortunately for her, there's one catch: the Author of All Beings is a complete troll.

A trip for two to an island paradise seems like the perfect time. Swimming, volleyball, jet skiing, snorkeling-- plenty of chances for a really awesome moment. But when her dumb feelings only let her see sappy romance at every turn, her nightmares might just ruin everything.
