Manehatten: The City of A Thousand Lights. A place where beings from all corners of the globe live and work together.

A mysterious investigator; a disgraced magician; a desperate detective; an idealistic journalist. Together, they must stop the bloodshed, but at what cost?

A collection of side stories accompanying my story, The Sword Coast. These tales will be confusing if you are not familiar with the core story.

The Jester and the Thief: Rarity and Pinkie Pie must rescue their friends from the clutches of Manehattan's mercenary law enforcement, the Flaming Wing. On the way, Rarity finds herself closer to her past than she would like. Occurs during the chapter "Flaming Wing" from the core story.

The Black Knight: The Second Child struggles to get by on the streets of Manehattan. He lives with a shadow on his mind and survives by killing. Occurs prior to the beginning of the core story. (WARNING: Spoilers. Intended to be read only after completing The Sword Coast)

More characters and synopsis to be added as chapters are posted.

The Sword Coast is featured on Equestria Daily. It is a grand adventure story inspired by Baldur's Gate and the Forgotten Realms. The first book is complete.

If the world thinks you are a snob and a fool, then everypony thinks it must be true. Azure Flame, the head of Canterlot's General Affairs Office, is a kind and quiet unicorn. Not at all snooty and more than willing to help others in need. But he has a secret. One that could destroy his whole life if revealed. So when the mare of his dreams starts asking questions he can't answer, he fears his truth coming out. And what's worse is a high society threat being made against both him and all he cares for. What can Azure Flame do?

Updates every month on the 15th, and on the 30th every so often.

I take no credit for the picture. I found it on Google.

Authors Note:
This is a Blueblood fanfic. Many people portray him as a rude snob or a downright evil pony. I understand, I totally get it, he is very easy to put into that role. But I decided to make him the good guy for once. Hope you enjoy.

Author's Note the Second: As of Chapter 13, the rating will change to Teen, and an new tag will be added, Adventure. However, since Slice of Life and Adventure can't go together, it's here in the notes, FYI. Things wont get too crazy, I just feel with all the sad stuff I've added, and the Epic Quest about to happen, some changes needed to be made.

Note the Third: Changing the Slice of Life to Adventure as of Chapter 24. I finally gave up on trying to make a Slice of Life story. I just wasn't doing so well on that regard. So, it is changed. Romance will continue, a bit slowly, as I am not the best at Romance.

Jace Starswirl is a unicorn living in a new era in history. The United Tribes of Equestira has been established, emerging from the chaotic maelstrom of a bloody civil war that engulfed the entire population of the realm. The Conclave rules over a race still licking their wounds and trying to recover. Ponies would much rather forget about the bloody conflict and live in the hard earned peace that now blossoms. Jace, an avid historian, grows tired of the attitude of fellow countrymen. Many of his fellow ponies, like his best friend, Kaisar, waste away their days with drinking and merriment, and refuse to look at the past that gave them such opportunities.

Fearing that the history of the conflict and the events that preceded it might become lost and forgotten, Jace begins to write the history of the Foundation War as it is known. He writes of the heroes that bravely stood against tyranny, of the villains who vainly tried to assert their will over all, of the soldiers who fought on both sides, and of the ordinary people who were caught in the middle of it all. This is their story, the story of the birth of a great nation, forged in the fires of war.

One thousand years ago, Luna, Warmistress of Equestria and sister of Empress Celestia, fell to the powers of Chaos and plunged Equestria into a brutal civil war. For a millennium she has been locked away, waiting for a chance to return to her home and her sister.

Now, she has been freed from the Immaterium, and as she takes her first steps in a new Equestria, one ruled by the powers of Harmony, only one question remains:
