For Daring, the motive is simple; the chance to find lost artifacts, treasure ad adventure. But is Bluebloods distant relation to the princess really the only reason he wants to find her lost palace? Daring doubts it; but as the secrets of the Platinum Palace, Princess Platinum and Clover the Clever are revealed, that doubt might just get everypony killed...

A Royal Wedding is no small challenge. Blueblood has lived his life in the upper reaches and his great-aunts have as well. Connie... hasn't. The bride-to-be knows stern practicality, sensibility and the donkey desire for simple and effective solutions to ordinary problems. The world of gold-foil wedding gowns, fifty-layer cakes, and other inanities of the nobility are beyond her.

And then... there are parents...

Left home alone after being grounded for mouthing off to Miss Cheerilee, Button Mash goes snooping through his Dad's closet. He finds a box of relics from his Dad's past, including a few vinyl records from some odd-sounding bands that turn out to be just the thing to incite a bit of preteen rebellion.

Trigger Warning: very little plot, lack of coherency, and multiple heavy metal horse puns. Anyone not familiar with old-school thrash metal should slap themselves. Hard.

Against him are the arrayed forces of popular opinion, the noble houses, the Equestrian bureaucracy, Shining Armor, and incompetence, to say nothing of the impending threats posed by ancient evils and foreign powers. Overworked, bitter and panicking, Blueblood must attempt to keep Equestria in one shape - against threats from foreign powers, internal dissent or evil forces - until the Princesses return or are found.

Blueblood-centric, with heavy focus upon Canterlot life, politics, governance and intrigue.
