This is a Blueblood fanfic. Many people portray him as a rude snob or a downright evil pony. I understand, I totally get it, he is very easy to put into that role. But I decided to make him the good guy for once. Hope you enjoy.
Author's Note the Second: As of Chapter 13, the rating will change to Teen, and an new tag will be added, Adventure. However, since Slice of Life and Adventure can't go together, it's here in the notes, FYI. Things wont get too crazy, I just feel with all the sad stuff I've added, and the Epic Quest about to happen, some changes needed to be made.
Note the Third: Changing the Slice of Life to Adventure as of Chapter 24. I finally gave up on trying to make a Slice of Life story. I just wasn't doing so well on that regard. So, it is changed. Romance will continue, a bit slowly, as I am not the best at Romance.

To sum up, the '', who probably really dislike Blueblood, will be helping him with a charity event. The chapter may have been short, but it spoke volumes. Personally, I like short chapters.
In addition, Azure Flame is found out to be Rarity's secret admirer (and she will more than likely want to meet said admirer), not knowing that he is the stallion she despises in disguise. Plus, Blueblood has a nightmare he hasn't had in years of his mother passing on his 11th birthday. Is Murphy related to Discord in some way?

this felt too clichéd and waaaaayy too forced. I'm not a writer, but as a reader this left me going like: "really????, ugh" , the whole aspect of, "oh his mom died, oh it was terrible,that's when he got his cutie mark too ooohhh, oh it was on his birthday too k?, tragic as fuck woah" is just so unoriginal and vapid. Maybe if there was some insight into their relationship, and developing the mother as a character, this chapter would've been bearable, interesting even!

Thank you for your honest opinion. I agree, I should have tried to put some more development in, but I guess it never occurred to me to do so. I'll try to work in more flash-backs in a better way, if I do any more.

I like to think that nobles and the nobility get all the flak because of historical stigmas. Nations overthrew their monarchs and nobles, and in a modern setting, such ideals are looked down upon. That doesn't mean all nobles are bad, its just we, in the modern world, look back at history and see the shit we got pulled through by a cruel and unappealing nobility. We've learned to hate nobles and pop culture doesn't help, with Queens being Evil, and Princesses being Good.
